Very big complex with nice staff members and a great general Manager. Highly recommend this gym to people wanting to get back in the gym or even quit the gym your currently at.

We've been going to this gym for about eight months. With the Covid the gym staff has separated equipment for distancing, and go around sanitizing equipment. Gym members are also doing their part for keeping distance and sanitizing the piece of equipment they just used.If your looking for a gym contact Sean at Work Out West for a membership.

I have been trying to cancel my daughters account since January 2020. We went in, in person in January 2020 to fill out the form in person to cancel it. They didn't cancel it, apparently lost the paperwork. They continued to charge my credit card. Covid hit and it was one excuse after another. We went back in August once things had reopened and again, tried to cancel the account. Had another charge in October. We again went into the gym to inquire why the charges were still coming out. They told us that they had no record of us being there in January or August. I received another statement of charges for November and January charges on it on December 21. I again called them to be told that Shawn was 'busy' and would call me back. He never called. I had a lady call 12/28/20 and had left a VM returning my call from 12/21. I called back to speak to Shawn, who was unavailable again. Left another message for him to return my call. He did return my call and then stated that the charges still stand as is, and that because we didn't come in until October that I would still have to pay for November. He had no record that we came in January or August to cancel. Terrible customer service by the managers at this place. They continue to charge your card even if you try to cancel. Everything has to be done in person, even with COVID. Can't do anything via email or over the phone. It's near impossible to cancel a membership once it has started and the managers are impossible to get ahold of.

Thank you to Sean for your honorable service to me. I feel that I can support this gym and their team. Any misunderstanding was dealt with and by Sean. I will gladly support the brand of Workout West. More purchases from my end will come!

It seems that this is a theme with Workout West, but the cancellation/non renewal process here is something you need to ensure right away is happening correctly. I got a word of mouth confirmation over the phone my account would no longer be charged after I went into the physical location and was not given a cancellation form. However, after getting a new credit card I’m getting a fee for not paying on time. Make sure everything you do is in writing with WoW or they will take advantage of you.

I have also had issues cancelling my account. Then I lost my card that my dues were being charged to and have been charged $152 for them being unable to charge me... for an account I have been trying to cancel. Not a gym I am wanting to give my business to.Update: Thanks for the response. I called and explained the issue and that I was willing to keep my account and give a new card for dues but was informed that you could NOT do anything for the full amount of the fees.

Workout west is a great place to train with friendly staff. Sean Casten runs a great gym and has been an excellent friend and trainer to me for many years. Highly recommend this gym and staff!!

Great local gym to attend. They offer a large assortment of classes with multiple times to attend to help motivate you to work out. The price is great too, especially considering what a member receives compared to nearby gyms and their facilities.

My family and I have been coming here for the past 20 years. It is truly an exceptional gym! The staff has been always very friendly and helpful and some of them have been there the entire time, which speaks to the quality of leadership they have within their management! You can find me there on a daily basis and I’ve made it a place that I can work out my frustrations and re-center. During the pandemic it’s was tough to find somewhere you could go with a friendly face and a welcome, Work Out West was one of the few. Keep kicking butt guys!

I’ve been a member of many gyms over 30 years and this is by far the worst. I’ve even been a member at a handful of gyms in Asia and this is the worst. They don’t believe in air conditioning. I just left the gym and it’s hotter inside than it is outside at 86°! Hotter is not better when working out! It causes muscle fatigue and listlessness. Not able to accomplish my goals in this setting. Extremely disappointed. And don’t get me started on the locker rooms especially attached to the pool in a completely different building. Awful design to have a hot tub in the middle of a gym letting all of the steamy hot air out. Whoever says this is a nice gym has not been to a nice gym. Will not be renewing my contract.
