Somehow, they charged my debit card that was closed in November 2018$530 dollars in November 2019. Not sure how they were able to put the charge through after the card had been closed over a year. I authorized charges on the old card but not the new one.I called to work out a deal with them since I had moved over 50 miles away, but they would not refund me. I even offered to pay the $530 over a course of time or even for them to send me to collections. But they wouldn't work with me at all.

Best gym in town. A little rough around the edges, but a closer look reveals a great gym. The locally owned aspect makes it feel comfortable and welcoming.

A large gym with a lot of equipment and an indoor track. I enjoy the early morning boot camp and HIIT classes and the trainers do a great job. Mornings and evenings are busiest as with any gym, but manageable. The staff is friendly. Only down side I have found is the equipment is maintained slower than I'd like.

To preface this, I rather enjoyed this gym for the 4 years I was an active member. But this last encounter left such a foul taste in my mouth, that when I return to the area, I will be starting membership elsewhere. After cancelling my membership due to a temporary military assignment across the country, I came to discover I was still being charged several months later. After inquiring, I received a call back several days later, stating that the money would not be refunded, and I would need to submit an email confirmation to complete the cancellation. They claimed they had requested this in the past, however, my wife and I could not remember any such requirement, nor of being advised of anything similar. To top this off, they made no effort to reach out (they had my email and phone number) explaining that they were waiting on this confirmation. They were more than happy to just let the bills collect. This is not the first time I have heard of this happening. A friend of ours who had previously attended the gym had gone through something similar. I suppose we should have listened to our friend more closely...

My negative review is in regards to Sean Casten the Director of Operations at Workout West. He has a very negative attitude and isn't professional at all. He refused to cancel my membership even though I explained that I was moving out of state which in the policies you are allowed to break free from the contract if you do move. Anyways why are there even contracts for a gym no one does that anymore there is nothing special about this gym either and the steam room and machines were broken half the time. Now days there are plenty of options for gyms. I recommend looking elsewhere, that isn't a gym that has rude management.

I love the new updates, the equipment is spaced for social distance, and sanitation sanitation are very convenient, thank you for keeping the gym clean and safe. And OPEN.

Nice staff but overall I feel for the price you can get better. There's no AC so can get very hot especially during Summer. Layout isn't ideal and feels like a zoo. I pay less for another gym and get 24/7 access which would be nice. Old gym with some outdated equipment. Canceling my membership wasn't as a struggle as others stated on here tho..

My husband and I patronized this gym for about four years with very little complaints. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, the premises is cleaned regularly, and the equipment is updated. Because of this, it saddens me a great deal to write this negative review. After cancelling our membership due to a temporary military assignment across the country, my husband came to discover we were still being charged several months later. After inquiring, my husband received a call back several days later, stating that the money would not be refunded, and we would need to submit an email confirmation to complete the cancellation. They claimed they had requested this in the past, however, my husband and I could not remember any such requirement, nor of being advised of anything similar. This is extremely unprofessional and extremely bad business!

So nice to find a gym that cares about what it provides. Staff are kind and helpful, there’s a large variety of equipment, and the group fitness classes are well-coached and fun!

Best local gym! The staff and trainers are amazing! No gym-timidation here. The classes are wonderful and they have something for everyone.
