24 Hour Fitness

What a damn mess! So many things wrong in this gym. 1.The staff is so uneducated and rude! 2. The workers are dressed as if they are at home relaxing 3.the machines are so dirty 4. The bathroom smells, there is toilet paper all over. 5.There is urine all over the toilet seat. 6.the staff looks like they are high 7.no one helps you! 8.it smells as soon as you go in. 9. The sauna is dirty and everyone goes in with work out shoes. 10.they want to charge you 30$ for a day pass! Oh not to mention the staff is walkin around saggin their pants. (Nobody wants to see your underwear) its disturbing.Point is .. Do not waste your hard working earned money on this gym its the biggest dissapointment and regret you will have ! Someone should really call corporate!

This place is improving! There used to be trash on the machines and on the floor but there's this short latin lady that cleans and leaves spotless! Not to sound racist and please forgive me if I do but it looks like the Latin staff they hired are really getting the work done better then the rest! Other staff should learn from them!!! These 4 stars are for the Latin staff congrats! But the other star if for the rest of the staff sorry guys...

Very unsanitary and dirty for these reasons:1. Once I walk in the first thing I noticed is that there's something growing on the ceiling that looks like it could be a threat to public health.2. The woman's bathroom is very disgusting, there's hair, dirt and possibly mold all over the shower floors and what look like shaving residue (and hair) on the shower walls I doubt that this lockeroom gets cleaned at all so ladies, BE CAUTIOUS OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS.3. The gym machines are hardly cleaned and if you're lucky there may be some sanitary spray and paper towles to use, because the employees there hardly restock or clean ANYTHING.I'm definitely relocating to a different gym after my visit, I rather protect my health than to contract a bacterial infection from working out here.My advice to the MANAGER, your employees look like they need something to do, why don't you provide them cleaning products and a ladder and have them clean the locker rooms and the ceilings.

This gym is actually a good gym to workout at. The staff is friendly and kind. I went to check out other 24 hour fitness gyms and they weren't as welcoming as the staff at this gym. I'm glad I chose this gym because I feel comfortable and confident. It has a lot of room inside the gym and that's my favorite part.

So I'm a LA fitness member, and recently switched to 24 for the fact that if im paying monthly might as well pay for a gym that I can workout 24/7. I got my trial at Carson, then went to Compton on my second day and Monterey Park, so when I got my membership I went to the Hawthorne gym and it was horrible, out of all the gyms I went I thought Hawthorne was awful, until now I still don't like it there, one of the main reasons is because they NEVER open the room, like I really look forward to that room after im done with machines, but this location never opens the room just for the classes. I would 5 star if the room was open like other locations. Really disappointed

Men's bathroom always nasty, machines stay broken for long periods, stuff don't give a crap, the sauna and the steamer mildew, the hot tub look worm water etc etc etc. And no one seems to care what we the customers care. ..But they keep raising the fees and taking my money. ..no problem.

The staff is decent (obviously some people have great customer service then others) the gym has been remodeled from the last time I was here which was about 6years ago. So it's diffently in good condition! Most of the machines work and of course you have the occasional here and there "out of service" ( but that's because somebody broke it!)The lady's restroom was decent.Note to ppl the gym isn't always going to smell like fresh roses. Unfortunately body sweat and Oder is common when working out. Not to mention people's lack of personal hygiene which is out of the company's hands!Only reason I'm giving it is three and not a five is because I wish they had more classes available the schedule is very small.

This gym is terrible. The equipment is either broken or damaged. I have seen people actually spit on the floors. There is usually trash and weights on the floors. If Magic Johnson still owns this gym, he should do a complete overhaul of it and start from scratch, or sell it and have his name taken off it.

Worst gym ever!1. Staff is terrible. Been going for 6 months now and not one person has ever said have a nice workout nor on the way out do they say have a nice day. It's as if they look away if they think there might be a chance they might have to say something polite.2. The equipment is pathetic. Where there are suppose to be grips on bars it's just the bar. I once saw a cup of coffee by the cables for one week straight! If something is out of order you best believe it won't be fixed for awhile. So many machines are missing pins where you insert in-between weights.3. For morning/ daytime downstairs they have on jerry springer and upstairs they have on BET .... Smh...Someone SERIOUSLY needs to give this place attention. It's terrible.

Wow. I workout at this 24 regularly and I have yet to experience the nasty environment that is being described. The staff is great, the machines work well and lately they've been replacing inadequate machines. I've actually been working out at this 24 for about a year and I have no complaints and trust me I there were something to dislike or some nastiness going on I would be agreeing with the bad reviews but in my experience that is not the case. I would have to say to people reading the reviews go for yourself and be your own judge because to me, this place is great and its not the closest 24 to my house, it's just the one that I prefer.
