Planet Fitness

Been to a lot of gyms in different areas of the country. This is by far the cleanest. They REGULARLY clean the equipment, even parts of the machines that couldn't possibly get sweat on it. They even clean the floor. I'm usually there after 10pm so everything I witness happens during that time.

I recently signed up (PF Black Card!!), and I had a fantastic first impression. The staff were helpful, friendly, and attentive. The gym, equipment, etc. were very clean/sanitary, so it felt safe to work out. I was really interested in the HydroMassage and wasn't disappointed. I felt super comfortable here and enjoyed the judgment-free atmosphere.

Great staff! Parris & Tabieus were very helpful and friendly! Very clean and cool for a comfortable workout. Tanning bed area is very small and could use more accommodation but overall a great gym.

Very poorly managed and maintained.The selection of gym equipment is horrible (too many treadmills, not enough weights) which leads to long waits and machine abusers who don’t leave meanwhile there are less than half the treadmills being used even during peak hours. They built some 30 min routine room that’s never used for the 30-min exercises (more wasted space).The ONLY water fountain in the gym has been leaking for a month, and I guess when the staff doesn’t feel like cleaning anymore they turn it off (it’s been shut off/turned on a few times already, but never fixed) so right now there is no water. Remember you’re a “lunk” if you bring a gallon water jug, so don’t, but planet fitness won’t provide either. Don’t judge:( PA is better than nothing I guess.EDIT: After response from owner, why should I have to speak to the manager when you (the OWNER) are aware of the issues? Manager(s?) are rarely there and all I see are younger staff (who do a great job in their capacity btw) that don’t really have answers. Having a single working water fountain and providing equipment in high demand isnt asking very much. You need to speak to the manager, whomever that is, because you also did not give a name or contact info.

Don’t like the way the make you feel because of color difference. People are treated differently because of race. That’s the only improvement they need to make environment is great because of the planet fitness environment. But being personally own changes the way some people are treated

Found out even though I pay for the black membership so I can have someone join me on workout days, now your guests can Not join you for the massage chairs! So you can bring a guest but they can't untilize the entire gym with you?? I bought that plan so they could join me. Not to sit and wait for me. Seems a little cheesey!! If that's going to be the case they should at least come up with another option to be able to even pay extra so your guest doesn't have to sit there and wait for you☹️. With the extra fee for the upgrade and the yearly fees they charge I would think to they could come up with something!

I have been going to this gym since I started my journey in 2013. I have lost 130 lbs and kept it off but new management and owners make me want to switch gyms. I used to have a plaque with my story till they removed it from the wall. have limited mats now in the ab area and you have to wait for someone to finish to use one. I am sorry but yall need to do better. We dosnt have all these problems under the old manager or owners. If things dont change I will contact corporate next and find another gym. Bright spot is Paige and Jeff is the morning always pleasant and cheerful. Makes me smile when I see them

I called in at end of December to renew my $99 membership. I was told by rep that it didn't have to be done that day and just come by in the next 30 days to take advantage of past deal. I visited today to renew membership and they would not honor what their rep had stated earlier. I have been a member since they initially opened but would rather do business now with people that honor their word.

I love this place. I used to be a member at the YMCA but i always felt it was so crowded. At planet fitness i feel like i have all the room in the world to get my grind on! I can’t wait for it to open back up:(((!

The staff is friendly and courteous. Machines are always clean plus love the environment at all times! Thanks for keeping Planet Fitness a great workout center.
