Manakoa Gymnastics

Manakoa Gymnastics is absolutely fantastic! My daughter enrolled there, and she loved every moment. Five stars all the way!The coaches at Manakoa are skilled, patient, and incredibly supportive. They offer a wide range of programs to suit different skill levels and ages.I highly recommend Manakoa Gymnastics for an enriching and positive gymnastics experience.

My children love going to class, the coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and show lots of Aloha. So happy we found Manakoa.

as someone with zero gymnastics experience, the adult beginner class has been amazing so far! i’ve felt welcomed from the start and look forward to picking up new skills each class :-)

Coach Cynthia and all of my daughters coaches at Manakoa Gymnastics were Amazing! All were very positive, and shared much aloha with every experience, making my daughter feel welcome from her first day. My daughter learned multiple skills on floor, bars and vault, but one of her greatest skills learned was the boost in confidence! The classes were affordable and they were very accommodating with make up classes when needed.I Highly recommend Manakoa Gymnastics, these are the kind of people you can trust your child to be mentored by.Gods Blessings!Much Aloha to All!

Our family started our journey with Manakoa Gymnastics in 2021 after moving back to the island and trying several other gyms. My daughter has been doing gymnastics since the age of 2 and she wanted a place where she could be pushed to grow and succeed. Mom and Dad wanted a safe place that would help her build self-confidence, physical strength, and coordination through well structured gymnastics and tumbling. We hit the gymnastics jackpot with Manakoa! It’s a family owned and operated gym and each gymnast is treated just like that FAMILY! The coaches are very supportive towards each gymnast and their current level with a high focus on fundamentals and safety so that the gymnast can have a long gymnastics career with little injury and high performance. While pushing each gymnast to be their best and to hit their goals the number one thing that is reminded to each gymnast before their events is to just have FUN. My daughter looks forward to going to practice each week (about 4 hours a week) and camps to see her teammates, coaches, & learn new skills!Thank you Manakoa for all you have done and continue to do for our little gymnast! We cannot wait to see what she accomplishes!2022-2023 was my daughters first year competing XCEL Bronze. She placed 2nd all round at Aloha Fest, HI & 4th all around at Brestyan’s gymnastics invitational, Las Vegas.

Manakoa Gymnastics is more then a gymnastics studio/ gymnastics team it really is an Ohana. From the first day my daughter started till now we have LOVED it here. My daughter started 4yrs ago and to see the joy and excitement in her face after every practice is amazing! Coach Cynthia and Coach Sarah are nothing but amazing with ALL the kids. my daughter started off super shy and quiet. But opened up after a few lessons. She LOVES gymnastics and is so proud to always show people what she can do! I’m still in awe that the coaches know and addresses each child by name! That just shows their true love and dedication towards coaching our kids.Communication is easy/ fast with them as well. Any questions I have, gets address so fast by email or in person.They have a nice age range of gymnasts.Our daughter just competed in her 1st competition and the true dedication and effort/ time the coaches put into not only her routine but all the competitors definitely showed! Manakoa Gymnastics seemed to be the only gym that each girl had their own floor routine. Each child was taught and had to practice their own routine literally shows another example of Manakoa time and dedication to helps the kids be competitive gymnasts.We are forever grateful to the dedication, love, time and effort that we receive from the coaches of Manakoa gymnastics!

My daughter has been with Manakoa Gymnastics working on 5 months now and the experience has been nothing short of amazing! We had taken gymnastics on the mainland before this, but the growth since joining has been astonishing. Her eagerness to go to class and the joy she expresses afterwards is priceless. Thank you to Coach Cynthia and the Manakoa staff for all the hard work and support. We look forward to what’s to come in the near future. Keep up the great work!

They charged for services they did not render. Customer service is absolutely atrocious. Impossible to speak with an intelligent person, or anyone who makes sense.I will be filing fraudulent charges with my bank. There are laws to protect consumers from scammed businesses like this one. PS this is so not true. It’s my first 1 star review in my life. Just can’t believe how you treat people. Never was so mad about customer service. I paid 1 st month, + you made me buy leotard, my daughter didn’t like it there. We never came back and then you charge me for 2d month. 220 $ for nothing. And lying to me about that you keep a spot for me when it’s just 2 day of the next month and threatening about being reported to credit agencies. When you changed me already. Just not even trying to work it out. And just being really rude.

During our visit from the UK, our child was lucky enough to join a couple of sessions at Manakoa Gym, and what a wonderful experience it was! Upon meeting Coach Cynthia our child immediately felt at ease (as did we), and she entered the session feeling welcomed and excited. We were able to watch our child via instagram stories which was reassuring and also lovely to see her in action. After which of course, she came out beaming!The kind and inclusive ethos at Manakoa Gym allowed our child to learn new exercises and build confidence on new apparatus in a professional and nurturing space. It was clear from our child's feedback that the sessions are lead by a friendly, professional team who want their students to thrive and enjoy the process!The fact that our child now has friends from Manakoa Gym is a bonus and when we visit in the future, we will for sure be booking in again!
