Absolutely worst customer service amd experience I've ever had with a gym, I had gotten sick shortly after joining tried to cancel my membership many times only to continue being billed and harassed via phone, email, and mail about my account which I had canceled months ago. Now I'm getting bills from a collections for almost 200 dollar on a gym I went to for a month before canceling. Absolutely disgusted this place scams people like this.

Started going to Get Fit in early 2018 I think. Started working with Travis as a personal trainer later that year. He is by far the best trainer I have ever worked with. I run a lot of half marathons and Spartan races. He would adjust workouts to help with specific things I was struggling with in races. He was really good with knowing my race schedule and working around it. He would explain why we would do the exercises we were doing and the benefit they provided. He is also just a good dude and I enjoyed talking with him while I was working out. Would 100% recommend him to anyone.

I have been going to this gym since Get Fit took control and I have been impressed with the quality of their employees and management and the condition of the gym. I haven't written a review before but yesterday Mr Patel approached me and a guest I brought and did it in such a professional manner, without bringing pressure to join, that my friend decided to join on his own because of his experience and the way Mr. Patel presented the options. Their trainers are top shelf and know what they are doing, Mr. Scott trained me through an injury and brought me back. He is now training my wife and I have been trying to get her into a gym for 30 years and now because of him she loves it. The general manager takes the time to talk to me check on how I'm doing. Love this place, come join the family :)

My husband and I joined May 27th this year. I was a member a few years ago but just quit coming. So I got my husband to join me and one of the biggest important advantage was because of the pool. š At the time we joined we were told it should be repaired about 2 weeks and here it is August 4th and not done itās discouraging and frustrating for one agreeing to join for 2 years. I spoke with the manager about the pool situation and he didnāt really have any answers except just waiting for the part to come in and also I wrote a statement to the manager itās in my file. At the time we signed up the agreement was that we had to come together to our agreement for the sales deal so later in that week I got to thinking later that week what if one of us couldnāt make it we were told that we had to come together or I could pay an extra so it was an extra $100 just so it would be ok in case one of us couldnāt make it. So I paid the extra money. I do however really like the staff and like going to the gym but Iām really ticked off about the pool and I wish I didnāt sign up for a 2 year membership because anything can happen in two years I should of did the monthly but itās done unfortunately.

I actually just left the gym and was blatantly disrespected by the day manager KP. I went in to renew my membership which me and him discussed over the phone A certain price but when I went in he wanted me to pay $149 extra. Which I did not mind paying because clearly it was all a big misunderstanding and miscommunication. When I asked him why he told me a certain price over the phone but now is charging me extra he got extremely defensive and started being rude. And he got really upset when I told him ā I donāt know what your problem is but if youāre having a bad day I would like to speak with someone elseā.Overall I really like the gym and how spacious it is but the manager KP was very disrespectful.

I have to change my review, unfortunately. I dont suggest hiring a personal trainer here. That said, I never feel like it's overcrowded and the pool always has a lane open. Having a separate 'women only' area to work out is amazing. The gym is clean and you see more people cleaning off equipment after use than not.

I was a loyal member of get fit for 3 years, and before that, a member of Gold Gym in the same location. I was never dissatisfied with their equipment or staff. However, last month I moved out of the city to where I was no longer able to make the commute for this gym. Through the cancellation process of my membership, I discovered that the Get Fit Athletic club Corporation has one of the most money-grabbing, borderline thievery cancellation policies I have ever come across. Since I was grandfathered-in from Golds Gym, I was not made aware of their cancellation policy, or if I was, it was by email notice and was not explained to me. Their policy is: 30 days notice of cancellation, and a $10 cancellation fee. Seems fair enough right? Except their Corporate office, and local offices will not cancel over the phone and they do not offer electronic signature of cancellation documents- you have to come in person, or send documents via Certified mail (which, oh yeah, you have to pay for). That said, I called in to cancel 2 days prior to my monthly renewal, and apparently, my annual fee. They refused to cancel over the phone claiming that "We cannot verify your identity" which is absolutely ridiculous - I work in the service industry and verify people's identities over the phone all the time. It's an obvious money-grab and shows that the corporation is corrupt at it's core. I don't blame the employees, I blame a upper level ownership or management that enforces a policy like this. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau for unfair trade practices and will be exceedingly vocal about their corporate greed. If this is how you're treated when you're leaving a gym, then I will never be a gym member again. I wound up paying my monthly fee, the annual fee, an extra month, and the $10 cancellation fee, just to get out the door. Additionally, the Assistant Manager offered to escort me out of the building when I explained that I would be taking this up with the corporate office. I wish the best for the employees, but this corporation is the worst of the worst.
