I would count myself as an intermediate fitness enthusiast who just joined Knuckle-up for Jiu-Jitsu. The gym is cozy and trainers are extremely polite and try to cheer you while you are learning. I have enjoyed my time here and grateful to have trainers at various levels (belts) who have different teaching style on various days. Shout out to Eric, Steve, Mitch and others who are always there rolling and encouraging! I am extremely new to the sport, but feel confident that I would be able to learn new skills and (hopefully) gain some proficiency.PS- I also tried the kickboxing class and it was great too. I burnt approximately 657 calories in 55 minutes which I believe was the highest calories I ever burnt at any gym ever. Thank you, Coach!

Our whole family goes to this gym, the kids for BJJ and my husband and I for kickboxing. This gym is very much a community, all the coaches for BJJ are fantastic and work well with the kids while still having fun. The kickboxing and boxing coaches really give you a workout and know their stuff. We love this place!

Registered my son for Jiu Jitsu and Boxing classes. The place is not big, but has a great vibe. I've watched the staff and owner interact with the people who come there and it's very personal and warm. My son is happy with the classes. They are not big, only a few kids, and that allows for order and discipline. It's not cheap (compared to another Jiu Jitsu place we used to go to) but we pay more for swimming and other sports. All in all my son goes up to 4 times a week so it's valuable. We're happy.

6th time this year we don't have an instructor for Friday morning classes 🙄 it's not like membership is cheap. If it wasn't for Mike's classes I would have switched gyms already …

I have been training here in the Alpharetta location for just about a year now. I am SO FOREVER GRATEFUL that I chose to sign up at Knuckle Up right when I moved here from TX. The coaches and members here have changed my life. I'm not kidding! Each kickboxing class, I burn between 500-600 calories in an hour. In Muay Thai, I get to fine tune my technique and still burn between 400-500 calories in an hour. Yes, each one is killer workout, but it's SO MUCH FUN and MOTIVATION! The coaches are all professionals/fighters and GREAT teachers! Coach Mike and Stevie have no idea how much I appreciate their incredible classes! I highly recommend skipping the trial and just go straight to signing up! Okay okay fine - try it out for a week, but you won't regret it. Knuckle Up!
