Straight Blast Gym Buford

SBG Buford DID NOT TREAT US FAIRLY! (Read the rest of the review)My wife and I were members of SBG Buford for less than two months. Unforeseen changes to our business and other life events have forced us to rearrange our schedules and priorities. When we went to cancel our membership, SBG did not charge us the 3 month cancellation buyout that we agreed to when we signed the paperwork. This would have been treating us fairly. Instead, they only charged us one month's fee, and this was only for one of us and not both.SBG Buford is an outstanding community, and we were sad to have to leave such a great group of people.If you want to be treated fairly, go to another gym. If you want to be treated like family, go to SBG Buford. To SBG Buford you are a person and not a paycheck.

My son Gabriel started this month. He loves it there. The quality instruction and friendly positive atmosphere has given him a huge turn in his outlook on not only exercise but his future. I am so great fil to have found such an amazing place. Communication is amazing!

I have been going to Straight Blast Gym for a couple of months now and have nothing but great things to say about it. I have primarily been doing their Jujitsu program but have met and have interacted with all the coaches and everyone goes above and beyond. I would 100% recommend them to anyone of any skill level

I have been a member for about six months. I have found the entire coaching staff to be professional, proficient, and care about helping you along your journey. The members are fantastic. They are all good training partners and very helpful. I really enjoy being part of this Tribe!!

I feel blessed to have been a part of the SBG Buford family for a few years now and can not imagine going anywhere else. There are so many things to learn and with the bonus of getting fit! There is a bond among the members that has impressively held throughout this pandemic and the team at SBG has been so informative, encouraging and creative the whole way. When we could not physically be in the gym everyone still felt connected. There's a great vibe in this Tribe ;)

I have been at this gym for only a few months now and I already feel apart of the tribe. It is a great atmosphere if you're looking to push yourself and grow as a martial artist. all the coaches there are willing to help you out if you have any questions about what you learned that day or if you just want tips on how you can improve something. I have been in the Jiu-Jitsu Muay Thai and I have gained so much knowledge then I would have anywhere else. when you start up they don't just throw you in with everybody else that's upper belt they make sure you know what you're doing before you actually go into the upper classes that way you're comfortable and understand the foundations of each course. You're looking at getting started I definitely recommend SBG!

I’ve been a part of SBG for some time now. When they say ‘one tribe, one vibe’, it’s so true on every level possible. We are a family here and everyone wants to see you grow and succeed not just at training but in life. It’s not the “typical” gym and I absolutely love that!! You matter here. You are welcomed here. You are important here. The atmosphere is fun, engaging and if you aren’t laughing at some point during training, then something is seriously wrong. I can’t imagine being anywhere else. I know this year has been “interesting” to say the least, but they have made the transition so much more easier for everyone. Seriously, if you’re considering it, try it out. You’ll be hooked. I promise. 🙂

I've been a member training with Phillipe since he started with ETA (Eagle Training Academy) about 9 or 10 yrs ago, then we went to Gentry's and now SBG. I have enjoyed watching the growth personally and professionally of not only Phillipe Gentry and his business but the entire culture and team he has grown at SBG. No matter how long I ever take off the moment I come back it's just like old times and always feels like I'm where I should be with family! As an "OG" I will forever be a proud member of the SBG tribe! Thank you Phillipe, Jim, Coach Pat, Sean, James, Eddie and Alex for always welcoming me back like I never left.Besides the Amazing family vibes you can't get any better Mixed Martial Arts, Jiu-jitsu, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Crossfit style workouts than at SBG! Not to mention they have several class times throughout the day and week so that you can train mornings, evenings or weekends without any excuses! Lots of space, great equipment and pads, spacious restrooms and locker rooms with showers as well! Very clean and always sanitized after each class! And don't forget all the merch swag you can pick up before and after you leave the gym to rep SBG Buford! Family friendly style gym for beginners thru those ready to train for their next fight! Definitely come check it out! You won't regret it!

I have been to many gyms in the area. I decided on SBG for a 3 reasons. First and foremost, the quality of the trainers and staff. They are knowledgeable, friendly and motivating. Everyone I have met is a class act and seem to really care. After joining and speaking with members, they reinforce what I mention above. Secondly, the class times are frequent and flexible as well as the ability to schedule foundations classes with a trainer at a time of my convenience.Lastly, the cost structure is fair and transparent with many payment options.If you want to experience something that is exciting, challenging and rewarding all at the same time while being in good hands through the process, you have many options here. I expect to be a member here for a very long time! An easy 5 out of 5.

I have been coming to SBG for almost a year now! I tried going back to regular gyms but it’s just not the same. The performance workouts are challenging and most of the time they are body weight workouts. SBG provides variety of classes to keep you motivated! Now I am trying Jiu Jitsu which is something I never thought I’d do! They were amazing during quarantine. Great coaches! Great communication. I love this place !
