I love the variety in each day's workout, the data and feedback that I get both during class and over time, and the coaches' knowledge, positivity and motivation. Each class has a combination of cardio and strength training, so I have really grown in both areas.

By far the best HIIT program available. Impeccable facility with excellent equipment that is expertly maintained. The staff and coaches are first class. Staff at the desk are invaluable, always friendly and helpful. Coaches are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and fun. Joining Orange Theory Fitness in Kalamazoo was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I had never been comfortable in group exercise classes, but a friend of mine told me this place was different and I should really check it out. I will be forever grateful to her for that advice! They have a wonderful staff and no matter who answers the phone or who is working the desk, I always know that they will be able to help me out and they are all incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I'm always greeted with a friendly hello when I walk in and a kind goodbye when I leave. The workout is incredibly unique and effective. I'll try to keep it simple, but basically you wear a special heart rate monitor which projects your information up to a screen that you can glance at during the work out to see how much effort your heart is working at. It's set up in a way that there's no need to be self conscious or worried that you'll somehow be shamed by having your progress on the screen. TRUST ME, everyone else is focusing on their own workout! There is a color-coded system and percentages that help you figure out where you need to be, if you need to push harder, or if you need to take a deep breath. But don't let anything I've said so far make you nervous or scare you off. There is no competition or inferiority/superiority amongst the people working out. Everyone there is working at their own pace and it's an incredibly supportive environment. It truly needs to be experienced to understand, but it's a wonderful atmosphere. My mom has joined and despite her own health issues, she has thrived and has such great improvements in her health! She is a wonderful success story of The impact that Orange Theory can have on your life.the constant is that you are always working in different high intensity intervals, which adds to the motivation, knowing that you won't be doing the same thing for 10, 15, 30 minutes. It's helpful to know that you can push yourself for just a minute longer. Plus the workouts are never the same from day to day so you won't get bored or feel like it's repetitive!Your first class is free and it's a wonderful way to check it out with no obligation. Before the class they have you fill out some paperwork and answer some questions and then introduce you to the coach/trainer. They will walk you through what to expect, and during the work out they will make sure to keep an eye on you and help you with any questions. After the work out they will explain a few more things and then you can talk to the staff about getting set up with your membership. It's changed my life and I have seen incredible results.ive lost over 70 pounds since joining in February!!! I've also seen people of all different ages and health levels making incredible progress. I'm so grateful to be a part of this awesome community!

I have always had a hard time finding (and sticking with) one workout program, but I am totally hooked. My favorite thing about OTF is that the workout is different every time and is a FULL body workout. I am going on month three and I still feel challenged every time I come in. The positive energy and great coaches keep me coming back. I always look forward to the accomplishment I feel when I complete a class. I’ve never pushed myself more in a workout program than I do at OTF. 11/10 would recommend to my friends, family, and colleagues.

What I love: the structure and direction from coaches, the ability to monitor my heart rate and know how hard I am working, the variety with treadmill, rower and weights. Amazing how fast 60 minutes goes by. The coaches and staff are great and I love the attention to keeping equipment clean. What I don’t love, but adjusting to: Having to sign up ahead of time for classes and running the risk of being charged extra if I can’t make it to class without cancelling with 8 hours lead time. While it can be a pain to have to plan my month out ahead of time, the upside is that it definitely holds me accountable to be there.

I am not one that ever writes a review, but with that said I was beyond disappointed with this places customer service. The first appointment they forgot to "write" me in and acted like I didn't make an appointment but some how you have my credit card#??? That wasn't by chance... So I made an appointment the next day for 11am. The girl specifically said please be here by 10:45.. arrived at 10:44am and the staff says "oh sorry we needed you here by 10:30"..wth. and then further turn you away. How much instruction do I need to do a workout people, I've worked out all my life!? And seriously, aren't you in a business too get more clients? To to it off I do not live conveniently close, at least a 25 minute drive. Staff never once tried to compensate for there mistake. Won't be trying your business..
