Best gym in Kansas City, it is the most convenient location downtown. I also really like the new free weights they just updated. The staff is very nice and welcoming.

Genesis gym at the power and light is one of the best gyms in the city All new equipment, very clean, and the entire staff is fantastic, including Tyler and Chantal. It wasn't too crowded, so I had enough time to work out and enjoy it. This gym comes highly recommended.

I'm from out of state visiting my friend, and I needed to keep up with my training. Tyler from helped me out immensely and made me feel right at home here at Genesis Health Club. Great facility with plenty of weights for a meathead like myself. I highly recommend this club. When you call, ask for Tyler. He's one of the nicest guys and you'll definitely have a great time here because of him.

Incredible and clean gym located in downtown KC. Tons of equipment to choose from. Great and friendly staff, especially Ava, who made the sign up process quick and simple. Best gym I’ve been to in Kansas City!

Ava assisted us and was phenomenal. She was extremely polite and professional and made our experience incredible. We were visiting from out of state and accommodated us and all our needs with no reception. 10/10 recommended gym

I was in town for business. Needed a gym to do legs and the hotel would not do. The management and staff were super friendly at Genesis! They had very reasonable daily rates and the facility was great. Very open floor plan, clean equipment. Bathrooms were spotless. Really enjoyed my visit and will be back next time I am in town. Would definitely be a member here if I lived in town!

I joined OneLife about a month before Genesis bought it out. This location took a strong turn down hill after. Genesis has owned the location for 6 months and the only improvement that has happened is they have paper towel holders. (That are usually empty.) The floors and mats are extremely worn and need to be replaced. I assume this is because of the increase of foot traffic because now more people have access to this gym. I still come here because I love this location. That was one of the many reasons I joined OneLife in the beginning.

I was in KC for a trip and decided to stop by. I used to go to the STL ballpark location and loved it. Only stopped going because I moved away and it was not feasible with the driving distance. I equally love this one. It's clean, it has everything you need and the staff are extremely hospitable. Tyler the assistant manager and the people at the desk were just so fun and energizing that it made being there more uplifting.Next time I'm in KC I'll definitely be stopping by again.

Excellent gym! Friendly staff and overly welcoming! Equipment is well taken care off and extremely clean. I couldn’t find a single piece of equipment broken. Spacious so you’ll never feel overly crowded while working out. Best in the city!

I really enjoyed this gym. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The equipment was spaced out and not crammed in one area. I’m not from the area and have visited quite a few different gyms around the US. All of them were good but would not call it a home gym if I moved to the area. This is the first gym that I would consider being a home gym if I moved to Kansas City.
