Horrible customer experience. Was told different things from different employees about getting my money back, which I I haven't been in 5 months. Am getting the run around. Employees are not friendly and the overall experience in the gym was horrible, which is a huge reason I never went back. Now, the disrespect abou my refund is a slap in the face. Use caution going here. I'll update if I get my money

Place is clean. That saved it from a one-star rating. Good luck using their 30 minute workout area as intended. People just camp on those machines as they do in the rest of the place and nobody makes the move on. When I complained to the front desk people they all looked at each other and shrugged. Why carve out an area of the facility specifically to do a kind of workout and then not support it? Not cool, Planet Fitness.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I haven’t used the personal trainer’s services yet, but I love that they’re available on scheduled days and times and that and we’re encouraged to get their help at no additional cost. The gym is clean, well organized, and aesthetically pleasing. Also, there are sanitizing stations everywhere. I like that other people mind their own business when they’re working out. I am very new to exercising at the gym, and I don’t feel intimidated at all! I feel like it is totally worth it to get the Black membership for the massage chairs alone, but other great benefits are to be able to bring a friend, go tanning, and visit any Planet Fitness in the country. Unlike other gyms, PF has no commitment period, and they’re not super sales-pitchy—They provide an awesome atmosphere and they know it, so they don’t have to. Come see for yourself, you’ll be glad you did!

Would've been 1 star, but it's clean. Equipment is all the older planet fitness machines compared to others nearby. Tried coming here to see if it was any better than Tallmadge since it's three mins closer for me. Never going back to Kent location. Staff was friendly, but they don't say anything to other members when asked to. Large college crowd and majority of them are just hanging out at the machines so they can't be used. They're very loud and annoying. Even some of the older crowd were just making fun of others that walled by them. And God forbid a female walks in...all the annoying ones chase them down and basically stalk them as soon as they walk in like dogs in heat. I will definitely definitely drive the extra few mins to the Tallmadge location. Tallmadge has all very new and updated equipment and at least twice the amount/size of Kent with more welcoming staff and fellow members.

Great gym, not enough weightWonderful, clean, well-lit gym in an easy to find location. Staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint, and the reason that I did not apply 5 stars is because many of the equipment only go up to a level that I personally am already able to do. I chose PF because of its proximity to my new job, but was using a different gym up until beginning of May that had heavier stacks. I wish there were more heavy plates and that the machines reached higher upper limits.

The people that worked there are very polite and understanding and place is really clean

The gym is open 24 hours most days of the week. The staff is friendly, and they keep the facility very clean.

While the college employees sit around and talk, there isn't soap on the bathroom, no paper towels on the floor and tanning beds left unclean. Annoying.

I like to do the 30 minute circuit training (which the area for this is reserved strictly for this purpose) but when I’m at this particular location there is often this group of 5 guys that loiter in the area and move the steppers around. It is very annoying to have to work around them, and the staff won’t do anything about it.
