I love working out at Crunch Fitness in Killeen. The environment is nice and clean. I don’t have to worry about my child in daycare because he loves the staff, especially during the morning.

I just joined and due to the lack of friendliness, I have a 4/5. The people up front act like they don’t want to talk to you. They don’t give off welcome to crunch fitness vibes. However, the childcare ladies!! I love them so much. My kids cry at first but by the end, they don’t even wanna go home. I’m so grateful and thankful for the childcare.

I have come to frequent this gym for a bit over a year now and have supported far and long before that. Corporate liaisons that visited the area also visited nearby, related businesses to uncover information and perspective as related to the gyms possible success if built.Fast forward to today, I enjoy my visits to Crunch Killeen, for the most part. The establishment is maintained well as far as cleanliness and viable, working equipment. Locker facilities are decent although they rarely offer the sense of smell a break from typical scents. An air freshener goes a long way, even a periodic spray of scent eliminator would be welcome. The staff is generally great, warm, welcoming and lively in their delivery of service and encouragement. The entire experience is almost free of disdain if not for one important aspect and expectation. The gym should never foster an ioda of condescendence, and unfortunately that's what I recieve, with almost each and every encounter with one, troubling employee. For the sake of privacy, we'll refer to them as Schmancy. It is regrettable that the employee holds a higher position within the Killeen business as it can be determined that their approach to some gym members and others is highly biased, judgemental, and upon a meeker individual, inducing of anxiety and discomfort. For longer than a year, this individual has failed to deliver even one genuine greeting, with great precision to not do so with myself in particular. This is a management level employee, failing to deliver basic courtesy and kindness, opting each and every time to choose passive aggressive behavior, vibes, and social output. It's lacking and disappointing in a way that even the most verbose would have difficulty explaining in due fashion. I have come to expect nothing better of this particular individual so much that is casts a pall on the immediate moment I am within their presence as they seemingly go out of their way to avoid interaction, let alone redeem themselves of such an apathetic nature. It's disappointing as a member of the fitness club, it's disheartening as a member of the human race. Even with the possible publication of this review, I expect it shall be made known to the beforementioned, and I will half heartedly expect either ill advised retaliation, or a meager, unintentional and forced apology. Either way this develops, I will hold my ground, and my opinion, as both will never be swayed by the likes of simple bullying. People, will never go out of business, and that is a concept that escapes some of the managment within this particular facility.Do better.I also request the "owner" account not respond to my review, as you have had a YEAR to do so.Again, don't be sorry, DO BETTER

My wife and I go everyday, as much as we love it, we avoid one of the trainers as much as possible. Dawn is super unfriendly. My wife was in the middle of one of her sets and dawn made it a purpose to interrupt her and rudely tell her to move because of a class that would start 15 mins later. We have zero problem moving to an new area , but how she came to us was unprofessional. Another example was today, she had a class going on, the class was in the middle doing floor exercises, people not in the class went around avoiding any kind of disturbance with the class and grabbed weights off the wall, I followed and hurried to grab a medicine ball, she stopped her class to yell and chase me off, proceed to glare and shake her head. We love going to this gym, my daughters love the daycare, we enjoy seeing everyone everyday, but someone needs to tell her the way she acts towards people isn’t professional.

My husband and I signed up just yesterday specifically this location since the one on temple is not yet open. So we went for a tour in the morning and decided to join and the girl was great… so we told her we would be back tonight to try it out since we were doing other errands. So when we came back the same day there was two girls and one guy. As I enter the building the girl with blonde hair was stocking up. My husband needed to put his wallet and keys so of course it is our first time using the dial locker and I asked for help. She had an attitude like she did not want to be there. So I ignore her so went along with our gym session. Towards end of the day we wanted to try the hydro massage and we remember in the morning the girl that helped us in the morning stated we check in front. So we wanted to make sure we check in properly and how to operate the hydro. When we went to the front the sameBlonde girl has really bad attitude I don’t know if it was just towards me or what. She was very lucky that I am very patient and try to be understanding. So of course my husband locked his wallet, keys and phone in the dial locker. So we asked that this is our first time to used this locker so we locked our things in there. We needed his phone to scan the QR to check in. The other girl black hair it seems like I was bothering them and interrupt their conversation upfront. All they were doing is talking to each other. Like previous post say they are probably gossiping or who knows. They really have to work on their customer service and yet we were new to the area. By far, it will take awhile for us to see if I will change my review about this location.

Nothing but trouble with Crunch. It's the sound of your wallet and your very soul if they get a-hold of it. Why do only used car sales people have a reputation for being slick? I got a membership plus a training package. I thought I was signing for 3 sessions a week, and because of some special signup was getting a 4th session for "free." I thought I was signing up for 8 sessions every two weeks. What I actually got was 4 sessions a week, billed bi-weekly ($360 or $720 a month). And billed as a service, whether or not those sessions are used; ie. the 2nd trainer I was given only ever met for 3 times a week! The 1st trainer I was assigned to, so all that talk with sales two about gym and fitness goes are just wasted, because they aren't loaded on to the actual person doing the training!!) never showed up for my first session. As a married pfc, my funds are extremely limited to begin with. If I pay you to show up and train, I expect you to show up and train!I should have cancelled then and there, but the Manager, Nancy, sweet talked me into another trainer, and offered me 3 free sessions as compensation. When I relized what actually happened, I discovered what many other negative reviews have already stated about issues with cancelling. When I went in and explained my situation to Manager/Co-owner, Nancy, the first thing she said, was, "You signed an agreement." While true, if that is what you lead off with, then you have terrible customer management skills!! I paid $720 to cancel my "agreement," even though it's a bi-weekly service and not by session, I now have 11 "free" sessions. This experiance cost me over $1000. The gym equipment is good, and the trainers, if they show up, are good. I pray other people do not repeat my mistake! Go someplace else! Very very bitter experience! Will update as situation develops.

Cindy & Maria decided not to process my refund due to the user agreement that that Sam posted previously not to mention that I've been paying for a membership over a year, thinking I canceled it. I've gone into this gym maybe twice ubderneath my own account because I no longer live close to this location. I understand that it was my fault not canceling after the year of monthly charges but to add insult to injury and not provide a refund for the annual fee is the type of customer service they are known for. If I was provided the details instead of the person whom took my photo flirting with the entering patrons maybe I would have been better prepared. Again, this is the type of service that is provided here I guess..Also, please don't respond to my review. I spoke with Maria & Cindy who was a form a management, if anything was going to be done to rectify thia, she had the power to do it when we spoke 10 minutes ago & didn't.

Cool gym, always clean. The only one in my area so it's quite a distance. People are friendly. Had an issue at the end with closing my account but had it fix at the end of day. GO TO THE GYM!!!! There is no perfect gym! 🥳 …

I enjoyed the gym and the staff which where great & I would give a five, but due to the lack of equipment I’m giving a honest four. I hope to see them maybe organized better and include more workout machines for the best experience. I did like that they have nice hydro massage beds and the gym rest room was nice and clean. So overall not too bad and they’re on the economical side so you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to be a member.
