24 Hour Fitness at Lancaster, CA, is a well-equipped facility offering essential fitness amenities, including saunas, steam rooms, pools, and a variety of workout machines. A round-the-clock operation makes it convenient for all schedules. However, the gym faces numerous challenges, including cleanliness issues, equipment disrepair, and overcrowding, particularly following the closure of nearby locations. Despite an extensive range of amenities, the gym's environment can feel chaotic with a lack of rule enforcement and insufficient maintenance. While some members praise the community and facilities, many point out hygiene and organizational problems that detract from their overall experience. A commitment to rigorous cleaning and improved resource allocation could significantly enhance the gym's reputation.

The best I've seen unfortunately I am not a part of your community any longer I just don't have an income and I was scraping whatever I could for the membership because it was worth it until I couldn't win however it still is the best I've seen as far as gyms go and I have been in a few

Basketball courts are filthy.. filled with McDonald's trash coffee cups.. absolutely disgusting. A month or so later the gym continues to be garbaged filled.. we literally have to clean the basketball courts every morning before we can use them..

I love this gym! I have been a member since 1994 and an employee on 2 different stents from the Palmdale location to the old location that is now Crunch to this location on AVE K. There have been some decent upgrades for power cages. There needs to be more free benches for dumbbells and barbells. I have heard it said that "we don't cater to the body building crowd." This was from a former GM who didn't really know his base. There are many more bodybuilders at this gym from the young and aspiring to retired and competitive. There are many more bodybuilding than are playing on the fixed motion machines. I have also heard from corporate via Regional Fitness Manager and Area Fitness Manager that there are no plans to bring back Kids Club. This is a huge mistake financially as many families work out together and are now forced to go to INSHAPE simply because they still have Kids Club. I'm not sure who the financial genius is behind this decision, but more income and less overhead equals more profit. 🤔 24 can be the mecca again, but they need some serious revamping in the financial strategy department in corporate.

I believe kids should have a safe place to play ball. However, they have no respect for the people at the gym. They run around, yell, leave trash, mess around on machines and cardio, etc. I just witnessed a bunch of kids running through the cardio machines and squat racks (bumping into one woman) to chase each other for their shoes. I wish that 24 would consider closing the basketball area at 5pm. This is not a playground; it's a gym. Kids running through occupied squat racks is a safety issue. I'm not saying take the courts away, but if they can't respect anyone, it should be closed during peak times.

Corporate needs to step up and stop neglecting this club! Gym is outdated and filthy. Not enough weights or machines. Broken machines and broken tv’s. Seriously, only one smith machine. Weights are scattered everywhere. Trash everywhere. Constantly out of paper towels and toilet paper. Zero pride.

It's a good gym with a lot of equipment and features. The only complaints I have are that there is no enforcement of the following 2 rules on the wall. 1. No gym bags on the gym floor. People bring huge gym bags and leave them all over getting in the way. 2. Guys taking their shirts off in the gym. (not just talking about the basketball court)

I’ve been a member at 24 Hour Fitness for nearly 20 years and have used dozens of locations across the country and I can say that this is hand’s-down the worst location I’ve ever visited. You can’t get a locker because people use them as permanent lockers and leave them locked after their workouts so others can’t use them. You can go there on a Sunday night when the gym is empty and 80% of the lockers are locked. Can’t they have someone on the night shift enforce the day-use policy?Equipment is constantly in a state of disrepair with machines often taking months to get fixed if they are ever fixed at all. There are multiple empty spaces in the gym where they just gave up and removed the machine rather than bother with fixing it.Staff is completely absent from the workout area. The area is filthy, weights are left all over the place and dudes are working out with their shirts off, getting sweat all over the machines with no repercussions. It’s like a combination between working out in a bathhouse or a prison yard. The gym is EXTREMELY overcrowded. Don’t bother going on Monday through Thursday. Judging by the indifferent attitude of most of the staff, I suspect the staff isn’t checking the membership status of everyone coming through. Either the staff needs to stop letting in people without memberships or there needs to be a second 24 Hour Fitness location in Antelope Valley to disperse the crowd. The only thing good I can say about this place is there are a couple staff members who care and have tried to make it a better place to work out (Dominic being one), but they can’t do it all on their own. Management needs to clean house and hire people who will enforce the rules. In the meantime, if you live in Antelope Valley, I can’t recommend getting a 24 Hour Fitness membership because this location is so bad.
