The facility is clean, but the over all operation for the membership needs work if it's no contract I don't understand how I'm looking at a $230 bill I haven't been their since covid and they are still adding to it. Never again will I deal with them I could've took my chances with L. A fitness at least they have a pool.

Just wanted to say that Tommy and Sophie always make me feel welcomed. The atmosphere at this gym is the best in the region! Makes going to the gym enjoyable and they make it easy to smile right when you walk in.

I recently had a question about my account and after calling 3 gyms, a guy named Alex was able to help me literally in 2min. Amazing customer service. Plus this gym is always top notch clean!

Demetrius showed me around and made me feel welcome as I been looking for a gym. He definitely has great service and pays well attention to detail. I signed myself and my mother up and joined the gym. The overall staff there was incredible.

This is not my home gym. I have the black card my credit card is on file. Other gyms take cash for a water. They refused to take cash and told me to go over to Walmart and buy a water there. Ridiculous! Showers and toilets were also dirty.

Great gym. Extremely clean. I noticed how the employee alex was cleaning the showers in the mens room. He was taking his time, and cleaning in great detail. He had them showers spotless. I would recommend this gym.

I had a issue with a charge they made to my card and I left 2 messages for the manager on duty she never returned my call so I immediately canceled my membership. Very unprofessional of her and the staff who took my messages! And to the owners response to my to my review I came in to the facility and spoke directly to the club manager she claimed she never got any messages with the lack of concern she displayed I will never return to your facility!

It was clean, friendly staff. I saw a few members without a mask. That is unacceptable.I visited Planet Fitness again. I see staff giving a tour to new members. Right in front of the staff member there's a member unmasked and no feedback. To the owner, it is not my responsibility to stop my workout and provide staff members information that they already have. You and your staff should do your job. There can be real consequences if there's a breakout.

I frequent many different planet fitness gyms but this complaint is for the one specifically in Lansing, IL. First, 70% of their employees are rude. They do not greet or say goodbye to the majority of customers. Second, we are in a pandemic and the cleanliness is severely lacking. Trash and water bottles on the floors and throughout the gym. Most people are not wearing masks which really doesn't bother me too much because I myself am a clean person. But judging at the cleanliness of the gym, I'm not too sure about the cleanliness of many members considering they're throwing wrappers and paper towels on the floor. The locker rooms have trash around and dirt/dust all over the floors. I actually had gone two days in a row and the first night the bathrooms had no soap. I went back the next day nearly 24 hours later and still NO SOAP. Third, they let customers do whatever and I mean whatever they want. No one re-racks weights. There are weights ALL OVER the gym that are a potential hazard just lying in random places. 3 to 4 employees standing at the front while customers play their own music very loud and stand at the same piece of equipment conversing and not allowing anyone else to use anything. Very disappointing. I have to come here 2-3 times a week while my son has his practices but if things don't change I'll have to make a change which is super unfortunate because every other PF I visit goes above and beyond to keep the gym clean and the employees are super kind. From the look of the comments the owner responds with the same generic response but trust, I am not one to complain, but if I'm spending my money and risking my health, I'll complain to corporate, BBB and the health department every day until something is done because if it's not me, its only a matter of time before someone gets ill or hurt from this place.

I went in on a Saturday and it was very peaceful and not crowded. There were a lot of vehicles in the parking lot so I assume they must be in the Walmart. The equipment was nice and workers were constantly walking around and wiping down equipment. Overall a pretty good experience if anything changes I'll definitely update with my personal opinion.
