My 2nd time seeing Ramiro is to cancel. The first time I saw him was when I enrolled, I won't forget a face or name when it comes to observing someone's customer service. His service, by far, needs work. When he created my contract and gathered my information, he would not keep his gaze within our conversation. He kept talking and looking beyond me which was rude, not to mention - the information on my contract was misspelled which caught my attention after I left. It just shows he doesn't provide undivided attention to client's needs. I know he's a general manager but professionally speaking, especially when you're enrolling someone into a contract and the client is investing their money into this business, you should make eye contact and pay more attention. So today after having a membership for a while, I'm here to cancel due to location issues. I was recently here to cancel back on June 19th around 4am or so, I didn't think a manager was required plus I was in the area since I was just at the airport that morning. I came by and spoke to a front desk staff member and she told me I had to come back after 9am to cancel so that I can speak to someone else of authority. She told me she would make a note on my account that I stopped by (on 6/19) to cancel. I assumed with a note placed on my account, I can come back before my next monthly due date for July since June 19th didn't qualify for the cancellation for my June 21st monthly fee (they require 30 days notice). So here I am today, July 11th, and sure enough I get Ramiro in all his glory. He approaches me sternly and says : "Mam! How can I help you?" After I was told to sit and wait for someone to help me. I told him I wanted to cancel. His immediate response was "you can do the cancellation online." I felt I was inconveniencing him. I almost asked him if I was but I don't want to give energy to calling him out and appearing as the irrational client. So I stayed quiet as he observed my account after asking for my phone number (no communication at this point as to what he was doing). I stayed quiet. He eventually said he took care of canceling but I would get charged for the next monthly due since I didn't provide 30 days notice. This is where I could have begged to differ considering on June 19th - I was here to cancel already and was told a note was placed on my account. But I'd rather not deal with someone like him anymore. I'd rather just waste another monthly fee and cancel my business here due to your employee Ramiro who doesn't fail to disappoint and the EŌS locations aren't convenient in regards to my home address and work location. It was nice driving out of my way to exercise here on my days off but I hardly stopped by because it inconveniences my daily routine. The locations are great but Ramiro just ruins the experience. Please give him some constructive criticism, he needs to improve and keep it consistent. He didn't even care to ask why I was canceling, I thought they typically ask. But whatever, he claims it's done. Just one more fee to go, I better not have any discrepancy's moving forward - I'm so done.

I went there couple years ago I was using a machine this guy asked me how many more sets I had I said 2 but there is a machine next to me that's same if he likes to use it at that point he cussed me out and threatened me I got manager to assist, but when I went to tell the person he threath me again I will call police the manager stood up for him made me feel like I was the one at fault he even accused me off raising my voice Wich I never did, I call police to file a report the cop told me I practically have to kiss up to manager because he was thinking about cancelling both off our membership I'm the victim and I felt like I was the one at fault no that's not right, after that I went there for years never had a issue at all if he would off cancelled my membership he would cancelled on a good member that never botherd anyone I think manager needs to find a new line off work his name is gus

Great gym, lots of space. Would bring your own towel and cleaning supplies if you are worried about machines. Not the gyms fault people are just unclean sometimes.

Decent equipment for the price. Unfortunately the coaching staff doesn't re-rack the weights nor wipe anything down after coaching a client on a machine, instead leaving it up to the next person to find it. I feel the staff (especially the coaches, that are showing people how to work out in the gym) should set a standard for gym etiquette rather than show none all together.Weights still everywhere

Was told by front desk they don’t offer guest passes. Which I know is not true. Snarky attitude not great service if you want someone to tryout your faculty

The best gym I ever been to in my life! Good bye LVAC.

A great place to work out or swim. The men's locker room is freezing, the one way to improve the gym. Turn up the AC up.

This review is for Russell/Pecos locationI joined EOS specifically for group classes, I am glad I did because I really enjoy the classes. Another thing I appreciate is this location does not play the music loud. Everyone wears ear buds, I hate needing to crank my music to drown out the gym house music. The reason for 3 stars? This gym is filthy dirty and paper towels are empty in 3 out of 4 dispensers at any given time. I have gone to this location super early (3 am) and early evening (5-6:30 pm), always dirty. I also go to a competing gym that charges the same fee, staff is always cleaning, it's spotless, and plenty of paper towels.Bottom line, is EoS a good value? I think it is IF you enjoy group classes. I would cancel my membership if I was going only to lift weights.PS: Forget about trying to workout early evening, it's PACKED, this area of town could use another EoS or two.

I went in to cancel my gym membership since I moved. They make you go to a branch to cancel the gym membership. I went in there and had to pay an additional $25 because I was late on my last payment since I got a new card. When I went to pay the $35 to cancel, the transaction was approved but it wasn’t approved on their end for some reason. Now they want me to try to pay another $35 to cancel again which Id supposedly get a refund, I don’t know what kind of games these guys are playing, horrible experience and a waste of time.

Packed, nothing works, staff is rude, told me I couldn't bring my brother as a guest because he already has a membership but his membership was only for one specific gym. So he could only work out there. I'm like but I'm bringing him here as my guest which is a feature I pay for. I was over it at that point, joined lvac that day
