Crunch Fitness - Lawrence

Nice gym, lots of space and new equipment. $20 week pass for visitors which is helpful for me. Showers need some maintenance... Weak pressure and the soap in one was not filled for two days. Also can be crowded.

I haven't been there since June they quit sending me text messages and quit sending me emails and I've never received an email from them in the first place and they decided to go ahead and charge me a $71 bill that I cannot end up getting a refund on because they don't do things like that so they wait until you're no longer going or you haven't been able to go in a while or you move out of state to where you can't go in in person and cancel which is further agreement what they want you to do so they keep charging you and charging you and charging you until your year comes up and then boom have $71 comes out and they don't care.Brandon the GM was very unhelpful and very not carrying about the situation. He hung up on me 2 times. And said I don't see what is so important about 71 dollars. Crunch fitness is basically a shark gym the wait for you to not be coming stop sending you text messages and emails so that way they can continue to charge you and bleed you dry of money.I don't recommend crunch fitness to anyone. There's far better gyms with far better people who are more willing to help you than crunch fitness.

Used their free one-day trial offer. The gym looks great. They have lots of fitness offerings in the form of classes, private trainers, massage & monthly membership options. The space was clean and not too cramped although it was very busy at the time we went. There was no high-pressure sales pitch. They let the gym speak for itself! The customers were friendly. Chill, relaxed atmosphere overall with a variety of fitness levels present and it seemed all were welcomed. As an overweight middle-aged woman, I didn't get body checked or stared at once making me feel welcomed and comfortable. I can't say that abouttother gyms I've paid good money to access.

Only reason this place is getting 5 stars is because of Hunter. He is probably the only person there that always has a smile or a welcoming demeanor. You have a good employee here. Keep him

Probably best gym in Lawrence that's not KU affiliated. Two things I wish they would improve on: provide towels to patrons and have ice packs available for people who injury themselves while working out.

I started out with a 3 month package with a personal trainer. I have had such amazing success working with Aeron that I've decided to keep up the training. My goal was just to increase my fitness level, I never imagined how quickly I would be gaining super strength. Highly recommend!

Knowledgeable trainers always available. Practically everything I would want in the gym.It's especially busy Monday through Wednesday. Music's loud and full of energy. Bright Lights very energetic place

Great gym for lifting, cardio, and free workout space. Can get very crowded sometimes but it’s worth it for sure. They also have tanning and massage services available.

I will never and let me repeat, NEVER give this gym 5 stars! because in order to CANCEL you have to SEND A LETTER OR COME INTO THE GYM instead of just calling them to cancel, not to mention even if they do give you a free trial they still expect you to pay for 60 days (apparently it's a contract deal) even when you cancel wayy before the deadline. I don't know why they do not let people know before hand plus the website is trash so it's not worth it. PLEASE DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!! I have so many complaints but not enough space so please take my word for it and save your money for a different gym!

Spotless facility. Lots of great amenities. Numerous machines and workout areas to make sure your wait is non-existent or very short. Great variety. Big thanks to Mitch & Destiny for helping me out.
