We love the indoor tennis courts. The tennis staff is very inviting, fun and our whole family loves the experience. Our favorite smoothie is the thin mint. Such a great place to have in Lawrence Ks!

Great gym, always clean with lots of different machines. Super friendly staff, Mariah is always helping out at the front desk with any questions. Definitely recommend!

Great location just off the bypass with clean and quality amenities. Dry spa, tennis courts and workout equipment is all up to date and well maintained. Staff is friendly and always greet you when coming in for workouts.

Wonderful experience! Staff was super nice and were honest about everything. The gym equipment is very diverse and in amazing condition! Definitely worth it to check it out.

Such a friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Mariah was so sweet to us as it was our first time there. The facility is clean with lots of new equipment, and the smoothie at the end was delicious! High recommend!

So originally I was going to the Y up in olathe ks, but I was on mass street and a kind gentle men offered me a free week at this location and I gladly accepted. When I called to confirm the free week the lady on the phone was super excited to hear and explained what I need to do (just show up with me, the paper I got, and my ID) so I did. When I got there the manager(super nice man) welcomed me and got me all set up with paper work for the week. He gave me a entire tour on machines, locker room, sauna etc... and was super helpful about it all. The equipment is all well managed and kept clean, the bathroom//locker room is super clean as well. The management is super nice and helpful wether it be towels for the sauna, shakes, or just being awesome to get advice/ talk to.and my biggest kicker for why I like this place so much is I'm about to leave in a month for military, and I explained I didn't wanna start a new plan so the people of genesis worked with me and helped me out in the sense of being able to workout somewhere I enjoy. Which is something i couldn't be more greatful for. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

I play tennis at Genesis South - Go SoLaw!! The tennis staff really cares about their tennis players young and old. They organize great drills and social events. If you're interested in private or semi private lessons they have a great staff of Tennis Pros! This is a great club for beginners and seasoned competitive players. They also have indoor and outdoor courts, so you can play year round.

the genesis gym all together is a great atmosphere, however do not sign up for anything to do with the tennis. the main director Whitney, i think is her name, is a total, you know what. she abuses her power and it’s pretty obvious. we were told we could play tennis outside for free, and we were told we could go in and borrow their rackets. she stormed out and started yelling that they’ve been looking for those rackets for 30 minutes (when we had been out there for literally two minutes lol). instead of asking politely to give her the rackets. and this isn’t the first awful experience we have encountered with her. i would recommend staying miles away from the tennis courts and anything to do with her. if i could give it zero stars i would. some higher management needs to sit down with her and talk about this extremely unprofessional behavior. not sure how she has a job. cause i can guarantee you with how she treats people she wouldn’t have a job anywhere else.

This Genesis health club (South Lawrence location) has been perfect for our needs. My wife and I come multiple times a week. Their kids club is a great space with trustworthy workers that we can leave our son in their care while we workout. The workers are very kind and attentive. The space is VERY CLEAN. The locker rooms are very nice, spacious and always well kept. Not super busy in the weights and cardio sections and the classes are a plus for my wife. We are huge fans of Genesis!

The Tennis program and community here is absolutely wonderful and we are so lucky to have this in Lawrence! Whether you’re a beginner and just learning to play, to someone who’s been playing for years, there is something for everyone, kids and adults. The drills are fun and challenging, and the coaching staff is excellent. Highly recommend lessons with any of the coaches (Whitney is my fave!).
