Genesis Health Clubs - Lee's Summit West

Go to Olathe and see for yourself hardly no Hammer Strength and the few they have are old and tattered. The facility could use some TLC and a visit from the health department. 291 is marginally better

LSW has created a community of supportive & uplifting gym goers! There is more than enough equipment available for any type of workout. You will never have to fight over a treadmill!! Multiple classrooms & various levels of classes for all ages. Personal Trainers take pride in their knowledge & passion for others reach their health & wellness goals.

Edit: Giving away t shirt for good reviews boosted their Google status. Everyone who works her is so friendly and helpful but definitely a forgotten Genesis, I would compare it to the Independence one.A little investment would go a long way to make this place seem same quality as the Kansas and surrounding ones. I’m always hunting down scarce plates and none of them match. Feels like they are struggling money wise or we should have a lower monthly rate for the quality. No towels is a huge bummer, having paper towels only makes it feel like PF. I go here because of its location. On a positive note the gym is very spacious compared to the other LS location. I hate to be so negative and will delete/update my review if things improve. Just wish there was better quality for paying the same rate as the other renovated gym in LS.

This gym is definitely my favorite in Lee’s Summit. Most helpful staff from any gym I’ve been to in a long time.

I had a wonderful experience getting trained by Cory Yahnian. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. If you want to get in shape and see improvements go to this guy!

Genesis has group classes for all preferences and I found several classes to suit me. I participate in Zumba classes since I love to exercise to dance. I also do water aerobics and weights classes. There is something for everyone.

I’ve been a member at this gym for 5 years and I LOVE it. It may not be big as the others but the staff is AMAZING and the location is GREAT!

I love group exercise classes! It seems to push me more and gives me accountability. Christa and Angie are amazing Zumba instructors!! So thankful for this Genesis community.

I like this gym way better than any other Genesis’ in the area. It has more of an Old school feel Close to home, the staff is always helpful even when your card acts dumb daily.

I love this location! The facilities are clean, staff are friendly, and it seems a lot less crowded than other Genesis locations I’ve trained. Dom went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and answers any questions I had.
