Place is clean, there are always cleaning supplies available (better since pandemic). I can usually work on whatever machines I want, with only a little bit of waiting, or switching to a different machine while waiting for another. Love the black membership, where I can bring my daughter or another guest if I want, and enjoy the extra black membership options.

As long as you go during the slower hours, the gym experience is great! I always go around 2pm on weekdays or at 9pm at night and it’s not super busy. Don’t make the mistake of going around 6pm on a weekday though because there’s barely any equipment available. The facility is also very clean, especially the bathrooms. I always have a good experience

This PF is clean, spacious, and the staff is friendly and hard-working. My only suggestion would be to put up some signage in the free weight area asking people to only take two dumbbells at a time. I couldn't access the weights I wanted because a couple of people took four weight over to their area, and just left two on the floor so no one could use them.

This is currently my gym after Flex 365 shut down. Good gym. Meant for light weight workouts. Plenty of cardio machines. You cannot beat the price. The hours are not great for individuals like myself that get up at 4 am, especially on the weekends, but you cannot beat the price. It's in a good location for early morning jogs. The staff is amazing. Management did an impeccable job during the pandemic. It gets crowded at times, but there is an app that will let you decide if you want to wait for equipment or opt for an outdoor or at-home workout. Would be 5 stars if they were 24 hours or opened earlier.

It’s always so crowded. People playing on their phones while “sitting” on/at a machine. Not enough equipment. It takes me an hour to do a workout that should only take about 40 min. But you get what you pay for ($10/mo).

This gym has one of the largest lobby’s I have ever seen in comparison to their weight section. It’s weak, small and lacking enough room for more than 6ppl to stand there. At least the gym staff was nice and didn’t judge me this go around but good luck finding a spot to lift some weights. The mirrors also do not span across the entire gym so there are many blind spots if you are aiming to correct your form. Also only a single analog clock to keep track of time. One of my least favorite gyms for such a buzzing area. Sorry PF but you have to step up your game!

I'm also struggling with the hours at Planet Fitness. Closing at 7 pm on Friday & weekends? Many people work weekends, particularly in restaurant and hospitality industries. Would hate to switch gyms but I am on the fence on joining Genesis since they are now 24-hours. PF needs to go 24-hours soon as possible before they start losing customers.Gym is otherwise okay. Locker room can be more cleaner/updated though.

Been going to Planet Fitness for almost 5 years now, and have been going to the Lees Summit location since the day they opened. All the rest I can deal with, but changing the hours of operation since sign up, and having no plans to change back to the original agreement, but still charging the same amount, is ridiculous and a bit shady. Literally it is too overcrowded and you can hardly get on any machines/weights in the time-frame given. Change hours back, or lose a faithful long-time customer.

When I first signed up for this gym they were 24 hours. Now they changed it to closed at 10 on the week days and 7 on the weekends which is terrible cause for some of us work and have to go later. The gym really isn’t that good. The people there are unprofessional and only enforce covid protocol for some people. Every time I go it makes me want to find a new gym. If there was a zero star review then that would be my choice. If anyone knows of any decent gyms in Lees summit let me know.

Generally a nice gym with one big exception. Too many people sitting on machines texting or watching videos. I experience it almost every visit. I mentioned it to the staff and was told that there was no policy against it no matter how long a person occupied the machine. That's taking "judgement free zone" too far.
