The bad:This is a VERY "tired" facility. Equipment is very old, worn and dirty.The good:Its a huge facility with plenty of space and many many types of equipment.I found the front desk people very nice!My work outs are free weight mainly and i dont need tons of fancy weird things, so this gym is ideal for me.I used it when traveling on business and staying in local hotel, the even offer a discount. 10$Overall Good+

A good enough gym. Most of the staff is pretty friendly. Some are apathetic. The place is usually packed after 6. There's minimal parking. The location was the selling point for us. It's very convenient if you live in downtown Long Beach. I have the typical gym complaint about customer service with cancellation. Don't do the autopay. The manager and the customer service 800 number won't help either. Billing issues are the customer's fault.

If you want a cheap gym in your neighborhood,its fine,otherwise it is a poorly equipped,way outdated facility.

Great friendly environment. The equipment is a little old fashioned and I feel it gets pretty hot in there at times but the classes are worth being a part of this gym.

Great gym. Staff is very friendly and helpful, prices are fair. Gym could use more accommodations like a basketball court or racquetball but as far as straight weight lifting this gym is cool

Crap. Gyms nice it's the people that are jerks.. Went to see prices before signing up and lady was so rude ugh never coming back

I caught bedbugs from this gym! I put my face towel down on the floor to stand on to dry my feet. I arrived home and opened the towel to see several dead bedbugs attached. I was severely bitten in bed many nights before this. I had to wash all of my clothes and bed sheets in hot water. Also, the equipment is very old and the men's locker room smells like a toilet. Cancelled my membership...

I walked in with a chip on my shoulder fully expecting to be treated like a number. As time went on my perception changed. This is a place for serious fitness. There is a lot of grunting, sweating and efforts being made here. If you want to soak in a hot tub go to another gym. If you want transformation and a safe place to test your limits, this is the gym to do it in. Great people, good music, knowledgeable staff, plenty of equipment, variety of fitness classes and Saturday boot camp is a great way to start off a weekend.Need help navigating the road to the new you? This is a "serious" gym, if you are not here to work out, this is not the gym for you. Yes, you know what I'm talking about, for those who go to the gym to make a show, no one will notice or care, in fact you are in the way of our workout. Yes there's no pool, jacuzzi, etc. but that's not what a gym is for.Group classes are good, Trainers range from very good, to they should not be training anyone at all...PERIOD.The only flaw in this gym is the manager Jose, he is terribly unprofessional. Instead of working on customer service for the populace, he's more concerned on being "buddy buddy" to a few favorites. He is notorious for "charge first, ask later". So if you buy a training plan, make sure he's not the one who will handle it.

Great gym with all equipment needed to get in shape, I recommend the boot camp to kick your butt into shape!
