Equinox Century City, located in the heart of Los Angeles, is a high-end gym that promises an unrivaled workout experience. Whether you prefer individual workouts or group classes, this gym is well-equipped to cater to all your fitness needs.

Despite its appealing features, some users feel that the club falls short in several aspects, such as an unbalanced distribution of equipment and early closing hours. Nevertheless, Equinox Century City prides itself on offering a clean, organized, and immaculate environment for fitness enthusiasts.

Pros:

  • Positives include spacious locker rooms and a balanced variety of fitness classes.
  • Staff is often mentioned as being professional and welcoming, providing an exceptional fitness experience.
  • The environs are clean and well-maintained.
  • Members enjoy the convenience of its location within Westfield Century City.
  • Despite being less spacious compared to other Equinox clubs, the Executive plan offered is appreciated for perks such as laundry service.

Cons:

  • There is criticism in relation to the distribution of equipment, with several reviews indicating an unbalanced emphasis on cardio training over weight training.
  • While praised for its cleanliness, the gym is said to be relatively smaller compared to other Equinox locations.
  • Closing hours, particularly on weekends, have been critiqued for being too early.

Great environment to improve your personal healthEquinox Century City sets a high standard for excellence offering convenient locations and good value for the amenities. While it does not have the most amenities of all Equinox clubs; I appreciate the Executive plan which includes laundry service for $700 initiation and my grandfathered total monthly rate of $350 per month. Not having to bring in your own gym clothes is a total game changer.Situated in the improved Westfields mall is generally a plus and in some ways compliments the mindfulness aspect. Have yet to try the spa therapy or personal training but I imagine it would be A-tier. My experience with the staff is great and I think they are all polite and professional.Opportunities:Executive membership used to mean they offer complimentary valet service. Some group classes would be nice if they were also offered towards the end of the weekOutdoor area is nice but lacks outlets to charge laptopWould be awesome if eqx offered cold plunge and massage chairs

I have a California all access pass and apparently this is one of those elite locations that you have to pay extra for. That’s fine, but I didn’t know that and recently moved and was considering upgrading my membership to use this one. They wouldn’t give me a free one day pass to try it out. And honestly, doesn’t look that different or better than the regular clubs. Horrible customer service!!!!

The staff are fantastic, the facility is good and equipment is nice, but the hours, in particular on weekends are a joke! 6pm regularly with reductions to 4pm on holiday weekends. 3 stars for the terrible hours alone unfortunately.I do want to call out exceptionally good positive service from Brian Holtby. He has consistently gone out of his way to help with any questions I have and to help with the membership any way he can. Five stars for Brian!

My daughter and I have been destination members ( century city since December 2018 ) and we have repeatedly put requests for an additional class to be added on Friday evenings with an instructor other than the present one on the schedule but have been given weird excuses by the management in general and the result being we seldom use this location for our workouts as their class schedule and instructor level is not equinox standards.

Let me make it clear: I am not your friend... I am your client, I advise the manager of this location to bring her voice down when she speaks to clients of Equinox and just try to do her job better... Thanks

The hours at this location is a joke, pay the most and closes the earliest. It's shameful, bring back the old hours back. Stop trying to maximize your profits!
