Equinox Century City, located in the heart of Los Angeles, is a high-end gym that promises an unrivaled workout experience. Whether you prefer individual workouts or group classes, this gym is well-equipped to cater to all your fitness needs.

Despite its appealing features, some users feel that the club falls short in several aspects, such as an unbalanced distribution of equipment and early closing hours. Nevertheless, Equinox Century City prides itself on offering a clean, organized, and immaculate environment for fitness enthusiasts.

Pros:

  • Positives include spacious locker rooms and a balanced variety of fitness classes.
  • Staff is often mentioned as being professional and welcoming, providing an exceptional fitness experience.
  • The environs are clean and well-maintained.
  • Members enjoy the convenience of its location within Westfield Century City.
  • Despite being less spacious compared to other Equinox clubs, the Executive plan offered is appreciated for perks such as laundry service.

Cons:

  • There is criticism in relation to the distribution of equipment, with several reviews indicating an unbalanced emphasis on cardio training over weight training.
  • While praised for its cleanliness, the gym is said to be relatively smaller compared to other Equinox locations.
  • Closing hours, particularly on weekends, have been critiqued for being too early.

Its almost insulting how a facility that largely resembles any 24 hour fitness/LA Fitness costs over $300/month.Very unimpressive facility having spent some time there. The cardio machines are crammed into a limited space, equipment space is limited, and bathrooms like like any 'decent/good' gym.I understand the rationale that avg. income/property prices in century city are higher than average and that's what Equinox is banking on - but at least have something real to offer. There are a million options in LA, so why don't you really try to stand out if you're going after the "executive" market?Half-baked effort.

I waited patiently for this place to open after being a member of the old CC Equinox for a few years. What a massive let-down! I'm finally canceling my membership after a couple of awful experiences.Bafflingly, the new floorplan for the main gym is less spacious than the old one (ceiling height doesn't count, guys)..? The air conditioning was broken during three of my workouts in one month (IN SUMMER!). The "system" frequently "crashes" and causes waits at the front desk. Many pieces of equipment have been poorly assembled or are otherwise non-functional: most pull-up handles spin (the cushions aren't attached right), the platform for olympic lifts is a slippery mess, the layout is nonsensical, they're missing basic equipment like a single proper pull-up belt...To add insult on top of injury, now they can't locate my laundry number or my bag of clothes that I left there last time - apparently the number disappeared when they canceled my account.Like... Nobody wrote it down first..? Great. Cool.Remind me: what the hell about this place is worth $250+/month?

Very small gym with a very poor equipment choices, I did not find a lot of machines that I usually use. Front desk staff was too lazy to go show me womens locker room giving me his loud sigh, lol. Nobody says hi, all trainers are mostly from Sports Club West LA. I only liked it for fresh clean new facility. Will be coming back sometimes just to mix it up, but definitely would not recommend this gym to be your primary one.

Love Love Love Equinox, Been a member of the Sports Club Location and my experience at the New Century Location is great. Nice Customer Service and staff. Love the fire pitt outside after my evening workout to relax. Yes its Pricey, but worth it.

This is a foo foo gym where people don't actually work out, pretty much just wanna be seen and socialize. I could name about 50 things that are better you can spend $250-300 per month on and this gym isn't even worth $100 per month.I guess you could do arm curls here while wearing cucumbers over the eyes and getting a facial if that's your thing. In all honesty though, it's overrated for what it is and it's at a fuc-ing mall which is sleezy in itself.

Very rude employees. Lazy morose front desk. Nothing special. Avoid this club it ain't worth it even if it was free

They don't let other equinox members have that free pass to see the gym and you can't park your car by yourself you have to pay 35$ for one day pass plus that vale date fee

Equinox is the worst! Don't ever buy a gift card there; they won't let you use it. I've tried at five different locations in California and New York, and they've all given me the runaround, telling me various reasons why I can't use it. A total ripoff!
