Had an awesome time yesterday at the grand opening of their new location! I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door. Everybody exudes a sincere and humble passion for what they do. This environment is conducive for growth! Can’t wait for my first kickboxing class on Tuesday. Joining for sure!!

Took my son Blake to the gym. He started the youth Jujitsu program. It’s been about 4 months now. And I can’t believe the boost in confidence I’ve seen in him. The teachers are AMAZING. The youth classes are great. A perfect mix of fun and informative. Not to mention all the adult members treat him like family and are always willing to take the time to correct and teach him. And then there’s the owner. Phil Perkins is the best!!! Treats everyone like family and is very willing to answer questions and give advice. . We love area 502.

I've trained at 2 other Jiu Jitsu schools, and neither worked for me. I started at 502 10 weeks ago and what a difference. Great coaching, motivation, and training partners. I've lost 40 lbs and 8 inches off my waistline. Best gym I've ever been to.

The best place in Louisville for MMA. The staff are welcoming. The people are friendly. You come in and you feel like you’re with family. The coaches are highly skilled and won’t hesitate to help you when you need it. Expect to work hard and expect to have a great time. I will always recommend this place to anyone who is interested in MMA.

I am a member at a gym across town, and I dropped-in to Area 502 for a wrestling class. Coach Blake was great, and all of the students were really friendly as well. The gym is well-run, and they have a lot to offer.

I stopped in from out of town to train with the guys and girls at Area 502 (My brother and cousin both train there currently).Everyone was very nice and the skill of the people training was very high. If you're looking for a solid martial arts gym with tough but fun training, this is definitely a great place to be.I definitely left exhausted and feeling like I got some very quality rounds in.

Great inclusive atmosphere, plenty of space, many different disciplines to train in. Everyone is very welcoming and they also have a great weightlifting area.
