After 3 years with BAREfit, I can’t imagine ever returning to a standard mundane gym. At the age of 48, I’m a more capable human than I ever was at 28, and it’s all because of BAREfit’s emphasis on training the body to remember how it was built to move. Coaches are excellent about meeting you where your body is at now to help get it where you want it to be.

Barefit Adventure has been a great place to work out. The nutritional coaching has helped me reach my goal. Now I am working on gaining strength, improving balance and building muscle. Seeing positive results keeps me motivated.

Awesome place and space to train and I really look forward to training here! The staff are great with addressing issues/concerns, very understanding, and easy to deal with. More of a family environment rather than a gym...don't hesitate just do it!

I love the classes and coaches, owner was cooperative, UNTIL I requested a membership cancellation because I won’t be in Louisville. Suddenly he only reads my messages ( iMessage read receipt) and I even asked him “would really appreciate a response regarding how and when you will cancel the membership. Thanks.” No response at all. I suspect he is waiting for the next billing day to charge me. So I decided to post my experience here as a warning for people considering signing up for membership.————————above is the review I gave 3 years ago, and 3 years later, I got an email notification letting me know there is a response from the owner… I’ve edited the response below because I was trying to argue with the owner, then felt it’s a waste of time since it didn’t work last time. I won’t edit my original review. Again, I did like the workout, the cancellation policy was okay, but the rest can go check out others’ reviews for references.

I have tried out one of the trainings which was good. I ended up choosing to not continue training due to personal scheduling issues.I told Rob that I wish to not to continue my training and asked to stop future payments. Despite that my next weeks payment came out. I notified him and asked for it to be reversed. It was not done. NEXT week it was still not reversed and ANOTHER pay ember came out of my account. After several messages saying he will address it it has yet to be addressed, my calls are not answered and my texts asking for my money back are left on “read” 3 weeks later and money has not been returned to my account.I still have no reassurance if I will get my money back or whether or not I will be charged again this Friday.I can not respect or recommend a business which does not respect my time or hard earned money.Furthermore now that I’m writing this review I see that I’m by far not the first person to have this exact issue
