Started Barefit March 28 @ 321 lbs. Rob shared barefit nutrition plan with me and assigned me a personal trainer named Jillian. From there it was all about sticking to the plan and working closely with Jillian via Boxer app daily on my scale, food, & exercise daily. Started losing weight immediately with light exercise. As I started to see the weight drop, I got motivated to start just walking up and down the street and more weight came off. Increasing my steps a little at a time, keeping nutrition in check, and staying in a calorie deficit daily or as much as possible, I was able to go from 321 lbs at start of program (3/28) to now weighing 235 lbs (Jul 19) for a total loss of 86lbs and in just a little over 4 months. Thank you Rob and Jillian for helping me with my lifestyle change and adding years back onto my life!!!!!! Everyone in my life is just amazed by my transformation!!!! Chuck

I have truly LOVED my workout experiences at BareFit. Curtis has been an amazing instructor and I have been able to see my body change and feel noticeably stronger (if only a little bit) from my past month working out here. He is very helpful with getting down the right form. I love that the workouts are always something new and fun. It really is functional strength training at its best.

And now BAREfit Adventure Training is contacting people to take down posts. How unethical can you get? This isnt the first time this has happened, per the BBB wesbite as well as former employees stating other people have had the same problem. Times are tough, I get it but that doesnt mean you act unethically. Then you offer services to “make up” for your mistake, that didnt even meet expectations in the first place. Not to mention it took 4 months and a post on social media to finally have you reach out becuase you dont want to “ruin your reputation.” I am all for supporting local, family business but you have to do business the right, ethical way...Not by stealing from and ignoring customers. BBB should be, and will be, in contact.

Would leave zero stars if I could. I have watched my credit card be charged $93.28 EIGHT times now since cancelling my membership with BAREfit Adventure Training. I have email confirmation stating my account was cancelled July 8th, yet this charge continues. I have had ZERO luck when trying to email, post on their social media pages, directly call and text the owner. When I have reported the unauthorized charges to Chase Bank I have been told to issue a stop payment, which I have done, but they proceed to tell me it's best to have the vendor cancel the membership to guarantee no further charges will be made. Yes, I have received reimbursements for the unauthorized charges but in order to be reimbursed I have to report every single charge. I am going to cancel the card so the purpose of this post is to seek help in how to handle the fact that I've been watching myself get robbed before my eyes twice a month for nearly 4 months.I believe in supporting local businesses but I do not believe in supporting businesses who are poorly and unethically managed. I would appreciate any insight on how to report a business who attempted to rob me of $746.24 and will continue to rob me until my card is cancelled.

I agree with many of the positive comments about this gym. I enjoyed my time there and felt as if the coaches were nice and informative. This gym is for all levels and you can modify or push yourself as much as you want.I unfortunately was extremely confused throughout my process. I signed up for the "free" 10 day trial, that was actually $60 and only 4 classes. Then had an unexpected charge of $120 the next month. You sign a contract stating you will pay month to month until you cancel. I missed that part due to the fact that I was signing up on my phone. I really wish I would have gotten an email of the contract or a profile where I could see what I signed on their website or something. The owner was kind to help out and get my membership canceled, but I could not drop the charge. The way you sign up for classes is confusing and it is not unlimited access so you have to mentally keep track of how many classes you sign up for or you will get charged extra. From my understanding the month membership is 12 classes or $120..I'm not sure I still don't understand!Again - great idea and fun, but extremely confusing.

This is more than a gym, it’s a lifestyle and a family. Barefit coaches work so hard to ensure that each person is meeting their goals. They offer every modification and/or progression possible so that all levels of skill can complete a vigorous and fun exercise! If you haven’t yet, check out their free trial option and see for yourself!
