Workout Anytime Fern Creek

This place is a joke. The management is terrible. I've been coming here off and on for years and I've consistently had to deal with over packed gyms and teenagers yelling and cussing. And now, after not being in for over a month and having not been informed of policy changes, the blonde woman who apparently runs this place rudely comes after my girlfriend and I heavily accusing us of ignoring these new guest policies trying to cause a scene and make a point in front of the guests at the gym and the other staff members. She would not even let me speak my side that we have not been to the gym for over a month and the email address they had on file was old and not in use anymore so I had no way of knowing these new policies took place and she continued to try and embarrass us while talking to us like we were incoherent children. I've never had to deal with her before and she was extremely unprofessional just like several other of these reviews stated. I will never recommend this gym to anyone.

Too many shady practices. Start a membership and they tack on a $20 "card" fee. $20 to run a credit card in 2018? No. You can sign up online and have a membership instantly so they definitely use computers to manage their customer accounts. Yet for some reason they require certified snail mail to cancel membership. Huh? Also this location is particularly bad. Rude staff, after hours code is hit and miss. It's within 1/2 mile of my house and I still go elsewhere.

It's a good, all-purpose gym. There are treadmills, machines, benches, DB rack, squat rack etc; something for everyone. It's smaller than most gyms, and during peak hours (6-7 PM) it's almost standing room only. They recently put in new machines and benches, and I can confirm that the wobbly bench mentioned in a previous review has been replaced (worked out on it a couple of times; glad to see it gone).Only downside is that there's only one squat rack (the Smith machine doesn't count), but again, that's due to the small size of the place. If they put another rack in, they'd have to take something else out (Smith machine gets my vote :) ).As for the staff, I don't have much to say. I leave them alone and they leave me alone. I prefer it that way, tbh. But one time I did tell them that one of the barbell collars was cracked (though still usable). When I came back a few days later, the barbell collar had been replaced.

Kayla was totally awesome today! She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me with a new membership. It was quick and easy. The price was very fair.

There is a short blonde goblin lady that appears out of nowhere to tell you to: do something that your already doing, accuse you of something you never did, threaten you with surveillance cameras (which I'm pretty sure don't work). If your wondering who she is, just look for a lady making a fool out of herself trying to make points with no evidence and nothing to base it off of. Me and my friends were literally accused of leaving weights and for some reason instead of checking surveillance, she thought she would just accuse us of leaving them around and only THREATENED to look at the cameras after the fact. .. really? That's how u treat clients? You confront people only on a hunch? Extremely rude and unprofessional. Only went to the gym so my friends can join in the workouts and the commute was easier for them, but now they rather drive further to my original gym rather than be startled by goblin lady.

Please do not go here if you are from out of town!! They will not honor their 14 day free pass unless you have a Local address. They should state this on the website so people don’t waste time driving there to use a facility that can’t even be accessed. Also if you do decide to use it since you drove their it’s $10 dollars for one day pass. Don’t waste your time!!

Love this gym. I recently moved here from Pennsylvania and this gym was the first place I found that I can just come in and relieve stress. Feels like home, the lighting is good, and their stairmills are always in working condition! Kayla and Adam will give you a good deal and you can try the gym out before you sign up!

Don't even think about working out after hours. I just signed up this week and have went to work out 3 times and have only gotten in ONCE after hours. I called the first time this happened the next day and it was supposed to of been fixed and it was. Until tonight apparently. Really bad decision on my part to pay this place money.

Used to be really nice, and for the price it's still OK. But more and more every time I go stuff is broken and stays that way for the longest time. Hardly any of the sound equipment for the treadmills work now. Night time door entry works most of the time. Half the lockers are taken by people who just leave locks and nobody bothers to enforce their policy and cut them off. Hopefully this gets fixed soon but it's been fairly progressive for a while. Probably need to look elsewhere soon.

Gym is fine...price is fine...good luck trying to cancel though. I bought the equipment I needed to work out at home and so I went to cancel my membership. I was given a business card and told to call a third party billing company. Three months later I have taken all the steps they have given me and still they are trying to debit my account. All I can say is month to month sounds great until you find that the company offering month to month believes it to be never ending and tries to charge you as such. If you are considering joining here make sure you are ready for a fight if you ever decide to leave.
