I really like the place, clean and the staff is great. I also have to join what others are saying about wearing masks. People walk right thru the door with no masks at all, so they are violating the mask policy.Private business HAVE the right to set their own rules regarding public policy. It is very disappointing that they are also placing their own staff at risk. Will quit my membership if I keep seeing such a disregard for public wellbeing.I really like the place, but it might be a deal breaker. 3 stars because lack of masks.

Customer service sucks, “judgment free zone” there is a staff member who not only is rude and very judgmental but keeps giving a hard time to my mom and I, even brought a visitor and she was also treated so disgustingly. We’ve complained a multiple times about this person and nothing gets done. Latest problem with her is that I need to turn an ID in order to use some bands. Been attending this gym since they opened and I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff, until MARIANA started working there. Not once has she ever been professional, so tired of her attitude if she keep this up she will find herself in a very difficult situation.

Great selection of cardio equipment. Limited selection of barbell equipment and no free weight squat racks. I think this place is great for people starting to get into fitness and trying to stay/keep in shape. I really dig the atmosphere and the friendly staff.This place gets extremely packed during peak and I think it's the price. Who can beat $10 a month?Good place for light workouts but definitely avoid peak times.

I’ve been a member at this gym since it opened and they have done such a great job keep the facility cleaned before Pandemic and even more now!!! Staff is always so helpful and friendly. I’m able to get a good workout in and feel comfortable that all the machines and equipment are cleaned, the 30 min workout room is my fav part of the gym! Never had any issues with this gym. LOVE IT!

Need to performance machine cleaner and maintenance. We are in pandemic COVID-19 and the bathroom dirty and no soap to wash your hands. I have been to couple planet finest in Puerto Rico, and they are much cleaner than this one and the quality of machine much better. I do not know what happens in this specifically they have to improve the cleaning is well below expectations.After my critique and my suggestion for fix the bathroom and performance the cleaning they do... Good job.

The workers are very polite and everyone cleans up after themselves plus no one ever judges you and the massage chairs are the best after your workout

Awesome gym, clean and great equipment, i would just wanna know why isnt there any weight benches for bench presses and deadlift stations, there is space for it... i believe it would be a great addition and make the gym perfect and complete...

I just joined but i will be posting in the future about my time here. This visit was very pleasant. Staff were nice and helpful.everything looked clean and it smelled nice

Planet fitness keeps charging my husbands Account even after he signed and canceled his membership months ago!! This is the 4th month we’ve had to call the bank!!! Check your accounts ppl!!

Stay away from Planet fitness in McAllen, people workout without mask. Only thing they are doing is making things worse for everyone, creating an unsafe place to workout. You are workout breathing harder and exhale harder easier to spread corvid 19. Staff didn't care.
