I signed up and cancelled in the same month because the gym was about 20 minutes far. But, I have been to many fitness centers in the area and 24 fitness the best so far!

Extremly disappointed that I'm paying for a 24 hour membership, When they're not even 24 hours!!! I understand needing to close down and clean etc. due to covid.... But they need all night to do that?? Maybe even being open 11pm or midnight..... something.... but 9pm is absolutely ridiculous! Waiting to see who takes them to court for false advertising. Now that would be interesting!

Clean gym and one of the better 24-hour clubs I've been to. I've been a member of the franchise since the mid 2000's. I get the COVID thing but 9pm closing time is still really early when you consider why many people bought memberships. The closest alternative that is open until 11pm really isn't that close.

I mean it gets the job done nothing spectacular though. If Life Time was open 24 hrs still ide be there though. 3 starts cause the steam room is never really steamy(there’s no manual button to turn it on either) and sometimes there aren’t any balls out in the court and it might or might not be hard to find someone that works here at the time. Fix those things and it would be an easy 4 stars

24 has been a goto for me most of my life, but this time when I signed up thet failed to evem mention that they are not open 24 hours. Love the gym. Hope they get the hours right before I have to find another place. UPDATE this gym is now open 24 hours, but the chain has only a few open late with gyms closing as early as 8 pm some days. As a result, there are still almost a hundred people in here tonight for my late night workout and rush hour is nearly impossible. I am still waiting for some things or having to skip at 10 pm because everyone is crowding into the one gym that is open later. The other locations stop music to anounce closing constantly in the last hour. Of course since this gym has gotten so crowded, it is hard to find a lane in the pool and standing room only in saunas. And now the uot tub was quickly out for repair. Really frustrating that 24 hour fitness won't just open 24 hours everywhere and stop this nonsense.

Just signed up with 24 Hour Fitness in McKinney. I am not happy driving 20 minutes one way to go to 24 Hour Fitness. I live in Frisco, the two closest location both closed ... I was a member of 24 Hour Fitness on Preston Rd in Frisco, and also attended the one in Little Elm on Eldorado Pkwy which borders Frisco.I know there are many others in Frisco that would prefer having the location open up. The location in Frisco was much larger than Mckinney, upstairs and downstairs. The dry sauna was much larger than the small dry sauna in McKinney.--- More disappointing is one of the over night staff -- young female name "Anah." Being retired military, I go overnight... I walked in approx. 0130 in the morning. There was no one at the front desk. I check in.... worked on my upper body and was looking for an abs machine to work on my abs... I saw only one, which was in use... so I walked around until I found Anah and only realized she possibly worked there because of the 24Hour shirt. She was looking or listening to something on her bluetooth... she was not at front desk... I asked her was there other abs machines.. after about one minute ... of her asking me if I was referring to an "App" although, I patted my stomach ... she still did not get it... I guess since I was persistence she finally took her bluetooth out and understood what I was asking her. She then told me that she did not know...that she was not a "personal trainer." I told her that she did not need to be a personal trainer to know what machine was in the gym. Then she told me that she never received any training. I then asked her how long she been working at the location, she told me a year. I told her that if she's been there for a year just walking around she should know where the machine are and what they do.. since it's on the machines.. After that I went to another member and asked... and got more help than Anah could provide.

I have been a member since 2018 and things are not going well now. I know it's staffing issues like everyone is having. It is not being kept clean specifically the locker room and the showers. The cleaning stations are always out of supplies so how you supposed to wipe anything down , so no one does. The front desk doesn't care when you tell them about the supplies AND classes have been cut to minimum. Sad and disappointing. I understand more about the class issue but the cleanliness is concerning after all we have been through.

If you’ve ever been to other 24 Hour Fitness gyms in the country, you’ll find this one rather small and limited. They have more cardio than anything else. Not enough space or machine weights during busy times; you’ll find yourself walking around looking for open strength training machines and weights; a lot of wasted time. The basketball court is also small with only ONE basketball hoop; which was surprising for 24 Hour Fitness. I was forced to buy the regional access membership so I could be able to use a bigger location. This one lacks.

I've been a member at this gym for about three years. Early morning is my time. I've seen lots of front desk people come and go. Right now there is a front desk attendant that goes over and beyond. He remembers member's names. I feel seen and welcomed there. He develops a rapport with the members, that makes it feel like he's a friend. The gym looks better when he works because he cleans during his shift (something none of the others have done). Brett is definite manager material. I hope he stays there a long time! The morning gym experience is something I look forward to thanks to Brett!

This gym is amazing! Great atmosphere and so many different exercise equipment machines...including free weights, and much much much more. All for a tremendous price! I just signed up for a year and look forward to getting healthier and in the best shape of my life. So glad this gym is here in McKinney!
