This just happened and I never write reviews or feel the need to say something, but I have been thinking about switching gyms and giving In-Shape on Yosemite a thought. Went in today hoping to get a good workout with my sisters (since they are members) and wanted to go as a guest and possibly future member. An older lady at the desk asked if I wanted to become a member and I said maybe in the future, and then she said as a guest I'll have to pay a $13 guest fee. We asked about the 7 days free trial and she said that's only for people who are interested in becoming a member and proceeded with a, "And you said no." I was shock, that I didn't even want to stay a minute in there any longer. I was excited to experience the new gym and see what it could offer, but after that intersection it's a definite NO TO MEMBERSHIP. I'm not saying don't become a member at In Shape because it's definitely a great gym, I would like to believe, but for the staff to be more kind. You may meet all kinds of members that goes in and out in a day, but that member is meeting you for the first time in that day, and you're the face of your company, and that determines whether people want to be a member of your gym or not. I'm only saying this so in the future people who wants to become a member will have a better experience than I did today.

The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because the hours are pretty bad. Friday through Sunday you have no option for playing tennis except in 100 degree heat because at about the time the temp drops below 100 they are already closed. Great service and great people, though! Enjoy my time there - just wish I could spend more time there.

The lady at the front desk I believe her name is Mary is very rude and is not very welcoming... But every thing else is VERY good and clean

I love this gym. I can get my swim on in peace while my child is well taken care of. The bathroom is really clean and the staff is amazing. Jeremy helped me alot. Great people skills.
