The Crunch on Fairview in Meridian has had no air conditioning in the back room for the entire summer, as well as part of the last one, and now has no air conditioning AT ALL with no seeming plan to repair it. So if you like working out in balmy, sweltering environments, this is the place for you.

Great gym but sauna and steam room are always broken. Upstairs is hot in the summer and WiFi barely or never connects. Needs more wall hooks for towels and bags in pool area and chairs . At family swim time and when classes take over pool their is not enough of both. Also hooks in the chair massage area too , always putting gym stuff , purse , water bottle and keys on floor or on my self .

I signed my son up for a membership and was told it was month to month. When we tried to cancel, we were told that we are in an annual contract. I asked for the contract and they told me they didn't have a way to print it and would email it. After asking more than once, they emailed me a contract that had their employee's signature on it but did not have ours at all. Since then, they have continued to charge us for the membership and have not replied to any of our correspondence.

The pool is getting colder I asked for it to be checked the young lady said wow that is cold. The room feels warm but not even close to water is cold Saturday I have watched three people leave. When you are old you are trying hard to be a functional person. If I could ever see a manager I would just ask please help me, I want you to give me a chance to keep going

Our family loved swimming here through the week during the hours we were told by the person who signed us up, and by another person at the front desk. We noticed that competitive swimmers were slowly starting to take over the lanes, even during the family hours. Eventually, we were told that there was no family swimming except on the weekend, due to competitive swimmers needing the pool. The manager said it was always this way, and we told him we were told differently by 2 other staff, including the person who signed us up. Also, by the families that showed up with their kids during those times. Our last day there (a week night), there was another family in line front of us who brought their kids, so I know this change was made abruptly and without any notice to members. We stopped going after this, especially having the manager lie to us. Sad that they had to resort to lying instead of being honest. We would have stayed if they had just been honest.

I wasn't happy with my membership, I had to keep my membership for a year. I I talked to about not auto renewing my membership. The lady said she wouldn't auto renew but now they have renewed it. They said it couldn't be undone. My grandson was hurt there he needed 7 staples in his head. We haven't been back in 3 months

Do not sign up for a membership unless you are committing to paying for a year, even if you will not be using the gym. The only reason I am quitting is that I have access to a free athletic complex, at mI y college campus and am canceling this membership so I can meet my tight budget for the school. All I was told is that I should have been aware that I cannot cancel within twelve months without paying a cancelation fee that is equivalent to the cost of the next five months of membership. The people may be good, but the cancelation policy communication verges on being unethical.I was not made aware of this at the time of signing up for a membership. The only response and answer the manager and staff gave me is that I should have been aware of the length of the contract buried in the club agreement. No mention of this term length or limited window of cancelation was mentioned during the signing up process by the employees. After discussing this with the general manager within a few minutes, he stated nothing could be done. Essentially stating it was my fault, not his business, for hiding it from prospecting customers.

This is the gym for you if you want to feel like you’re walking into a used car dealership every time you go work out. They will endlessly try to up sale you even if you just ask to buy a single water or protein shake. Oh, and don’t bring or list a guest unless your guest wants a minimum of one phone call per day from the front desk asking them to join.

My experience is much-like other individuals recently. They won’t let you cancel for months: you try to call and they say go to your home gym. At the home gym they say a manager has to do it but a manager is never present. You cancel finally and they keep charging your card, but refuse to refund the money. The manager is rude and condescending. The gym itself is just okay- broken equipment and missing dumbbells. Gyms are competing big-time here, with nicer, cheaper alternatives available. Take your money elsewhere.
