The Montgomery planet fitness needs a bicycle rack many members ride their bicycles there and there is no place to lock your bicycles up please help I spoke with the manager and he just shrugged his shoulders and he says you'll have to talk to his boss so I hope this goes that high

Great friendly place to work out for a cheap price. Always clean and most people clean the equipment after they use it

Good 👍 as usual. Doesn't stand out from other PF Statewide. You have basically all you need. Friendly staff that's something I've noticed so thumbs up 👍 …

The machines are no clean, the staff people just talking in front desk sometimes we can’t find rolls of paper to clean machines before/after use.

Tried this using the day pass and the and was not disappointed. There is lots of equipment, it is clean and you feel like you can work out with no judgement - just as they advertise.

Over the last few months I have seen the cleaniness of the gym go down the toilet. Bathrooms are not clean and trash overflows on the floor. There have been countless times, that I've seen SARAH (THE BEST BTW) working hard making sure the gym is clean.I am not sure what happened to the nice cleaning crew, that used to be there, but I wish they would comeback!!!SARAH IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST, SHE LOVES HER KOB AND THE MEMBERS!! SHE GOES OVER AND BEYOND FOR US, KNOWING EACH OF BY NAME IS HEARTWARMING!!! SHE DESERVES A RAISE, AS I GEEL LIKE THAT PLACE WOULD NOT RUN THE WAY IT DOES WITHOUT HER!!!! I LOVE YOU SARAH!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US!!!!!

This is an update to my previous review. I'm downgrading my 5 stars to 2 because this is now the second time in about 6 months where someone went into the mens locker room and cut all the locks off the doors and rummaged through peoples stuff, I'm just guessing to steal wallets. Luckily both times I didn't bring my wallet into the gym with me. Neither time anything was done about it. I notified the front desk person and they said they had to look for someone else to notify them. Other people were complaining about the same thing. Since I didn't have anything taken from my locker I didn't wait around, but talking to the other members afterwards, there was nothing ever done about it.

My experience with the gym has been not short of fabulous. The staff and patrons very friendly and top notch. If you're looking for a facility to workout please check them out.

I loved this place while the one on Lake street was closed, the staff is friendly and everything is well organized, I only think they need about 3 or 4 more benches in the dumbbell area since many users without labels use them to just put the weights there instead of using it for its true purpose or leaving it to another user who is going to use it well, or maybe the staff should be vigilant and reprimand these people who hold the equipment, other than that everything is fine.

It's my home gym; as a result, I'm a bit subjective. That said, I have visited enough other PFs across the country to have a reasonable sample size for comparison.Staff friendliness is "hit and miss". The major staff complaint is the frequent amassing of paper towels flowing over the trash. It's observed 40% of the time I workout, particularly in the early evening. Also, the paper towels are not reloaded frequently enough. Staff oftentimes takes the shortcut of not loading the machine; instead, they simply leave rolls of paper towels on top of the trash bins. Staff must be reminded to check the trash bins and paper towel supply for reloading. They're generally not thrilled about the feedback, instead of appreciating the observation (which is given in a positive tone, at least I think so).The equipment is good. There are newer equipment at some PFs, but that's likely because they opened the doors years later. The hours are unfortunately only 24/5, not 24/7. It's certainly a deterrent to using this PF as a home gym.The tanning beds and massage chairs and beds seem to be functional and of sound quality.

As a formal worker at Montgomery IL Planet Fitness, I have to say it is hands down the worst place to work. I was hired as a manager, but instead of managing, I found myself stuck at the front desk just in case someone walked in. If you work there, no matter your title, you end up doing everything. I wasn't treated like a manager--I was basically the stock boy, filling coolers with protein and water that hardly anyone buys because they're outdated. On top of that, I was made to play janitor, cleaning the bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers. When I was on the gym floor, I became the "weight boy," constantly picking up all the weights scattered everywhere and putting them back. And when the tanning beds were done being used, guess who had to clean those too?The absolute worst part? They have us cleaning under the cardio machines while members are waiting to use them. How do they expect anyone to be productive or feel respected in a job like that? Planet Fitness treats their employees like disposable workers, and it's beyond frustrating. It's absolutely infuriating how Planet Fitness handles the whole Saturday night closing cleanup--why on earth don't they just hire a cleaning crew to do it? Instead, they choose to make their employees slave away after hours like it's some kind of unfair punishment. It's beyond disrespectful. And as for the owners, it's clear they're completely out of touch with reality. No wonder women are treated poorly and real men are being pushed out of the gym altogether. The place feels like it's lost all sense of respect and fairness. Then there's the Annual High School Summer Pass™ program from June 1 to August 31--what a nightmare! The gym turns into a chaotic mess with unruly kids doing whatever they want, glued to their phones, completely ignoring any gym etiquette. And guess what? Planet Fitness gets government subsidies for this so-called community outreach, which basically means they don't give a damn about the paying members. Your concerns? They couldn't care less. It's maddening to see loyalty and respect thrown out the window just because they can cash in on subsidies and ignore the needs of their real customers. This whole situation is a disgrace.I can't believe we're actually told to force members to give 5-star reviews or else risk losing our jobs. This was the last straw for me. I work at a real gym, not some fake place playing dirty tricks. I'm done--glad to never step foot in that gym again. It's ridiculous and completely unfair to employees and members alike. This kind of pressure is just wrong. When there's trouble in the gym, we can call the police for help. However, we cannot share any member information with them. Member privacy is always protected. And the trouble maker gets away with it this is not just some casual policy; they just done care about your needsDave
