I was in the area and wanted to workout at this location. I like to take advantage of the Anytime Fitness Gyms across the nation. I've been to several different locations. Chicago, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Indiana, Colorado and I will continue to visit more. I have seen great gyms and interacted with some great owners/employees at these locations. So I get to this gym on lunch-break. Only one middle age woman was working out. Complete dead in the gym. Anyways I walk in and immediately look for a bathroom to change into some workout clothes. I was quickly approached by the owner. He grilled me with all sorts of questions in regards to who I was, why I was there, and my gym attire. He takes a look at my shoes and tells me I can not work out at his facility since they are muddy... (They were dusty from running on a forest preserve from the day before.) Are you Serious, I asked? He replied, "we cant allow those to be worn here". The shoes had white bottoms, and are virtually impossible to stay white. All I needed to do is take a wet towel and they would have been cleaned. He went out of his way to show me the signs all throughout the gym.He had a very snooty and condescending attitude the entire time we talked. As I was leaving he lets me know that "NAPERVILLE HAS DIFFERENT STANDARDS THAN YOUR GYM" He just rubbed me the wrong way. Wouldn't you want people in your gym? It attracts more customers to your businessOverall the gym was clean. Gym was very small and lacked free-weights. Music selection was poor.I usually do not leave reviews but I felt obligated to leave this one. I would suggest a different Anytime Fitness in that area. Maybe he pissed me off because I wasted pre-workout. Who knows? but I can tell you that I will never step foot at this location again.

Went to this gym a couple times to try it out before signing up and I am glad I took advantage of the free-trial period because I ended up not getting a membership. The gym was clean and had a decent amount of space and workout equipment but the owner was probably the main reason I did not join. He was extremely chatty and persistent in talking to me, I understand he was getting to know a potential client but he made me feel uncomfortable and would talk to me before, during, and after my workout. It was too much. Clearly, he could not pick up on my disinterest in his conversation. I decided on a gym that was not so in my face and more comfortable to workout at.

Mike is a dedicated businessman. The club is always clean (and generally being cleaned). He recognizes everyone walking through the door.It has the basics of any gym, plus a little extra, in terms of equipment.Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The 24/7 365 availability (and access to other anytimes) is very convenient as well.

Mike Starck is an awesome guy who runs an awesome gym. It is by far the cleanest gym I have worked out in, and the atmosphere is great there. Mike takes a point to get to know all of the gym members and goes out of his way to maintain the relationship. Even though it is a relatively small gym, availability and variety of equipment is never an issue. Being open 24/7 is great as well.I used to work out at Xsport and really liked the facilities, but the staff really could not care less about the clientele as long as the the money keeps coming in the mail. Mike breaks down the business relationship barrier and makes it feel like a neighborhood gym which I genuinely appreciate. If you're looking for a place in the area that facilitates a good workout alongside with a good environment, I would highly recommend signing up at Anytime.

Absolutely Awful.Expensive and Poor equipment.I was a member for 2 years at a different anytime club and loved it. After I moved I started going to the Naperville location and the first time i went the owner Mike interrogated for several minutes and made me feel very unwanted. I work out 5-7 days a week so i spent a lot of time there. The owner Mike constantly interrupts all members during their workouts and scurries around the place frantically cleaning and weaving in and out of people as they try and work out. It is a clean gym which is great but the guy has no sense of personal space and makes everyone uncomfortable. You would think as a gym owner he would have proper gym etiquette? If you are like me and want to purely workout this gym is not for you.It is not a real gym. When I cancelled my membership it was a long painful process.I cant believe I paid that much for a place like that, sadly it took me 8 months to realize and joined a real gym for half the price.

Gym is always clean and organized. Staff is very friendly. Owner Mike is always around checking on clients. Great place to work out in a great enviroment.

I honestly think this gym is a waste of money. Especially when Xsport Fitness across the street is so much better. I spent 45$ on a 6 month contract which then converted to a month to month. I wanted to cancel well after the 6 months and was told to send a notice 30 days in advance regardless of the circumstances. I should have paid 39$ and gone to Xsport Fitness where I could get a 24 hour gym, a 30 day money back guarantee, no charge for key replacements, a sauna, a steam room, showers, lockers, a rock climbing wall, fitness classes and a much nicer environment. I chose a small gym that was without the frills thinking that they would be nicer, but the only nice thing was an owner who says hello and knows your name. I could care less if you remember who I am, what matters to me is customer service and a person that can be flexible enough to help me out when it's needed. I am really disappointed and would never recommend this gym to anyone I know.Other then the cancellation experience, throughout the time I went... it was ridiculously strict about things like not wearing outside sneakers indoors, and having the owner even wiping machines down while I'm using them. It's frankly creepy! And I don't bring in muddy or dirty shoes, but I'm not going to buy a brand new pair of sneakers to just use at your gym.If i don't go to the gym, the person in charge was all up in my face asking where I was, why I haven't been coming. Do you really want someone getting all up in your personal business? And the last thing you want is for someone to call you or point at you and say why haven't you been coming!I go to the gym for peace and quiet, to relax and to work out. Not to be annoyed by perky, fake employees.

Its good for people that want to pretend like they work out. Theres only 1 squat rack, and its not even a full cage. Theres not even a leg press or calf machines. Its full of middle aged ladies and a handful of curlbros. Overall if you want …

Fabulous facility. Spotlessly clean. Spacious. Everything works. I was an out of town visitor in for a few days. Mike introduced himself right away and made sure I had everything I needed. He obviously takes a lot of pride in the club. Just a very well-run club suited for every fitness level.

I have been to 2 other fitness centers in the area and I would undoubtedly rate this as the best location. This is probably the best fitness center that would win for cleanliness. It is very hard to find the fitness center dirty anytime of the day/night. Mike is one of the best club directors I have ever met. Very friendly atmosphere and most importantly you are treated the way would like to be.
