I’ve been a member for 6 years and could not be happier with this gym. Mike and the staff keep it immaculately clean and always warmly welcome you when you arrive. Mike will even check in with you when you haven’t been in for a while!James is an excellent trainer, extremely energetic and great at motivating you - even on your worst day.If you’re serious about your workouts and don’t want the crowds and posturing of a large gym, check this place out!

Sales guy is one of the most arrogant people I've encountered. I thought anytime fitness offered a free one week trial. He said it didn't. Made a call in their lobby to see if I had confused them with another gym and he kicked me out. …

Looking for a gym close to me; my past experience with AF has been positive but your horrible reviews are keeping me from even visiting.1. Get your cancelleation policy in order.2. Drop with the over zellous rules.

Rarely do I write reviews for anywhere unless the experience was very good and exceeded what I expected, or the experience was very bad/uncomfortable and I wouldn’t wish for anyone to experience the same. Unfortunately this one has to do with the later.I’ve been a member with anytime since around 2013 and been to several different branches, at the time of this writing currently 6. I love it for someone like me who’s always on the go, you can’t beat the conveniency. Recently I’ve been going to this one (Naperville) on the weekends since it was the closest one around.First time I entered the gym which was about 2 months ago, the owner (Mike I believe) comes out the office striking a conversation about where I’m from and the usual chit chat small talk. He then goes to say “Awesome. Well I won’t keep you from your workout, something we like to do here at this location is no slamming weights or heavy grunting and having clean gym shoes when inside. Actually, do you have your shoes with you now so I can take a look?” Okay... I’ve never heard this before at any of the other locations nor been asked to show my shoes..but I comply and did it.Earlier today as I’m putting on my shoes in the cubbie area, I noticed there was a bit of dirt stuck to the bottom of them. As I’m cleaning off the little bit of dirt on my shoes, Mike comes out of nowhere freaking out as if what I was doing was unlawful and says “yeah you can’t wear those inside here” and goes on about how “that’s not nice” and “whose going to vacuum that up?” And so on. The whole time I’m thinking “is this guy really making a big deal about something as little as dirt on your shoe?”It’s not like I was walking around the entire place with them for 1, I was in the cubbie area where there is already dirt/snow etc from people walking in and out. This is the Midwest, I don’t care how clean or careful you are, eventually your going to get some dirt on your shoes. And 2, I was cleaning up after myself!! So his “precious” little entry area wasn’t getting dirtier in the first place.End of the day I don’t see myself returning to this branch..ever. Kudos to the staff/trainers for they are good people. Unfortunately the owner Mike makes it difficult to be here.

Pretty good equipment and very clean. However, my husband arrived by himself, used his fob to enter the facility, but he was called a day later and accused by management of entering the building without a membership. I’m not certain how they would know to call him if he hadn’t used his key fob...very inappropriate.

Great gym, very clean with a friendly staff. The people that give a low rating for things like wearing street shoes should know better. I, for one, appreciate a clean gym and members who respect the equipment.

Clean club, however.. The owner here has some sort of weird fetish with their being a rule of changing your shoes at the door. He will even go to the extent to call you to waste your time telling you so. Small club, very minimal selection of equipment, free weight selection is horrible. This is a place for senior citizens, and not actual weight lifters. You would be better off going to any of the other Anytime Fitness's within the joining area. Clean, yes; can you get a actual workout done if there are more than a few members in occupancy at a time.. No.

I have been a member of the Anytime Fitness in Naperville on 75th for over five years. The gym is incredible! Mike, the owner, keeps the gym very clean, something very difficult to do in a gym setting. He is very welcoming and friendly to every single member who enters. He remembers all their names and welcomes everyone. With that said, he also keeps safety first attitude. From not allowing people to abuse the weights, to making sure others are safe by only allowing paying members to enter. There are fantastic trainers at that gym as well who will drop everything to help you. By far the best, cleanest and friendliest gym I have been to. The only people Mike will make leave are the one's who refuse to follow the very few and simple rules to keep everyone safe. If you are looking for a great place to workout, lift some heavy weights and enjoy some nice people, Anytime Fitness on 75th street in Naperville is your spot.

I have been to a lot of anytime fintesses and this one is by far the cleanest and the staff here gives 100% to keep the place looking great! The staff also is extremely friendly. I enjoy being told hello. It makes me feel special. :) I wish other gym chains did as good of a job.*note remember to change into your gym shoes when you get there. I recommend Flip flops. If you have never been to an anytime fitness. They are 24/7 365 days a year. They are small gyms but more common than charter or planet. At least that's what I've observed. They have individual bathroom/changing/shower rooms that are something this gym chain does right. You never have to worry about belongings being stolen. They have a really good setup at all locations. And they say hello to you :)

I honestly don't understand the bad reviews! You're going to complain about changing out of your street shoes because the owner doesn't want outside diet brought in? I'm happy to change my shoes. Not friendly? I've never experienced that. If the owner is there, he greets you when you come in by name. Not enough equipment? I don't know what your looking for. This is a smaller gym, but it has plenty of equipment for everyone. Mike keeps his space clean and welcoming. This is not a gym with body builders making a lot of noise grunting and dropping their weights . There are also yoga and yogalattes that are a great workout.I truly enjoy this gym.
