iLoveKickboxing - North Haven, CT

Me and my fiancé joined ILKB north haven about a month ago and are having a great experience here. It’s a great workout, very fun, and everyone is super nice and welcoming (both the other members and all the coaches!!). We love our time here and plan to keep coming as long as we can!

Super excited to start iLoveKickboxing! The first class was a lot of fun and everyone was so nice and welcoming. The coach, Gabby was so welcoming and made sure to go over everything so I knew what I was doing. Was looking for something different to work out and this is perfect!

The Energy was great! I honestly thought it was going to be just hitting and kicking a bag, but it was more than just that. I’m glad that I decided to go to my first class . I felt better after the class. The experience itself is priceless! Thanks again

I truly love this gym. The classes are incredible and the instructors are patient, compassionate and very enthusiastic!! Its a great place to go to get fit and have your day brightened by all who walk through the doors!! Thank you ILKB!!

Joining ILKB was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, not only for my physical health but also my mental health. The environment is fun, positive and judgement free. I actually look forward to my workouts!!

Day one was a horrible experience and the phone calls prior were worse. You can’t hear the caller and you end up with a headache by the end of the conversation.Prior to the first booked class and receiving confirmation of a 5:15 class by email, we arrive 30 minutes prior as requested only to be told we cannot wait and had to return at 5:15 because class does not start until 5:45. No one EVER made mention of a 5:45 class.We return at 5:20 for the now 5:45 class to be told we need to reschedule. Of course we resist because now the miscommunication on the part of ILKB is not even being acknowledged even after showing the email we received confirmed a 5:15 classLuke was apologetic but this little girl Gabbi was very obnoxious, extremely rude, unprofessional and continued to insert her unsolicited feedback even when asking her to not speak to me. She even said she will call the cops but unbeknownst to her, I am the cops. I told her to go ahead as she continued to try kicking us out. She surely cannot be what you want to represent your entity as. Her behavior was extremely inappropriate as she offered no accommodation to what occurred.We received calls from Cece and the manager Kristine to make scheduling arrangements and are extremely displeased with the entire process as well as the way your miscommunication was handled.We will be requesting refunds and writing a more formal notice to your headquarters.I would advise the local community to not partake in supporting this facility.

Gabby- the receptionist was very standoff, rude, and not polite. Gabby did not make us feel welcome and did not introduce herself. She did not even offer us to have a seat and wait. She stated we were early and need to come back later. She had not even ask us if we would like to start our paper work knowing it was our first time there. We were told to come back and when arrived back Luke and Gabby stated we need to reschedule when we were there on time and turned around for being there half hour early as instructed to. I ask for a refund and was refused to receive one. This was a horrible experience and lack of communication and rude ness. Gabby threaten to call the cops and made under breath rude comments. I would never step foot back into this place of business. I spent my money just like ever other customer and shown proof of what was sent to me from ILOVEKICKBOXING and Luke stated that he does not know who sent the email but they are wrong. Knowing the email came from headquarters. Luke was asked if showing him the email wasn’t going to help my situation why is he requesting it. Gabby stated get of of the place of business and if a refund was required to reach of to headquarters. This place of business is a scam and does not conduct themselves with equality.The communication from day one was unprofessional and hard to hear over the phone. The confirmation call the day before also stated to be there 30min before 5:15 PM and when arrived on 3/29 the employee Gabby said that’s not true and Luke stated the same even after showing them the confirmation email.

Talk about good vibes. It’s great vibes here. The energy is amazingly contagious and as my first time here I cannot wait to come back again and again!

I joined ILKB last July 2022. It was the absolute best decision I made for myself. The staff is incredible and I’ve met some awesome people too. I highly recommend ILKB!

***Updated 4/2/2023 - I’ve been a member for over 4 years and still love this place as much as day 1! The coaches are amazing and so supportive! Kara, Gab, and Kristen - you’ve been a constant on my journey for YEARS and such a huge part of my success and happiness. And the good vibes all day from Luke, too. Best workout with the best people. Don’t hesitate to join this for fam!There are not enough words to explain how much I love iLovekickboxing North Haven! All of the coaches are so inspiring and motivating! This is a place where everyone is not just welcomed, but embraced, by the staff AND the members. We truly are a good vibe tribe! The facilities are very clean, there is lots of parking, and the class schedule is always expanding. I’ve never felt better and more confident about myself and my strong body! So many gains since I started! Proud to be an OG member!***Review Updated*** 2.5 years later and I still love this workout as much as I did when I started! I’m about to hit 600 classes and it never disappoints. The coaches are so supportive and fun, the members are the greatest and most motivating friends ever, and the health gains I’ve made amaze me every time I hit the mat! LOVE ILKB!
