I travel for a living, a couple months at a time, and I can safely say without exaggeration this is the best gym I've ever been to. It's bright, open, the atmosphere is friendly and invigorating, and the staff knows who you are and wants you to be healthy more than anything. The regulars range from casual college kids to bodybuilders to the elderly. Highly recommend.

I've been a member of a gym (and worked in them) for the last 40 years...this is a great gym all around, with something for everyone. With a great atmosphere and friendly staff and members, the equipment is ample, up to date, and well maintained. All spaces are sanitized regularly. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

The best gym in Williamsburg, and it has a very inclusive feel amongst members and workers. There are lots of military members, college students, and older members in the community that attend the gym. The equipment is up-to-date and the crowded hours do not mean you can't find open equipment-could not recommend more.

IBG is a great local gym with lots of friendly faces, and nice equipment. Personally, while I understand the appeal of larger gyms, I like the feel and atmosphere of smaller gyms like IBG; it just feels more like home. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and everyone is respectful! Can't rave enough about how I love the place!

The iron-bound gym truly feels like a community! The staff was always friendly and helpful, there was plenty of equipment, and there were always special events gong on. I also appreciated their flexible hours, which accommodated my sometimes strange schedule as a grad student.

I went to Ironbound for almost 2 years while I was a student at William & Mary and it was the best gym I've ever been a part of. Besides the obvious, (plenty of equipment, good classes, clean environment, etc.), the thing about Ironbound that makes it stand out far beyond any other gym is the staff. Scott and the rest of the staff are so friendly and actually get to know you. After leaving school and joining other gyms I have experienced how deceiving and unfortunate much of the fitness industry can be, but that could not be further from the truth for Ironbound. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

This is the first gym I've ever joined and I have to say I'm impressed. There are so many weight and cardio machines to choose from and the staff is always so welcoming. I don't feel self conscious there at all. I try to go every day, sometimes twice, and I look forward to it each time. The prices aren't bad either. Thank you!

Phenomenal environment to exercise in for both beginners and experienced lifters alike. There is something for everyone here. From a reverse-hyper, deadlift bar, to unique cable attachments, it feels like they have everything here, you just have to look. The staff are so friendly and are on a first name basis with most regulars. There is no gym in the Williamsburg area that offers better price for the quality equipment. I could not give a stronger recommendation to join this gym.

This gym is super clean, well maintained, and friendly. As a woman, I’ve never felt uncomfortable here like I have at other gyms. Everyone is so friendly and their equipment is up to date. It’s smaller but honestly that doesn’t make a difference to me because they still have a ton of equipment and it’s very clean. Best gym in Williamsburg for sure .

Ironbound Gym feels like family from the moment you walk inside. All the staff are friendly and helpful and everyone looks out for one another. They offer great classes for all levels with professional trainers. Everything is adaptable to meet your needs. The owner is very involved with the community and is always looking for ways to give back and partner with great causes. Membership pricing is unbeatable - check it out if you’re looking for a clean and great local gym!
