I work out 2-3 times a week here in the Brookline Village location. Great neighborhood gym with friendly staff. I also train with Will Campbell here, and he's been fantastic in helping me meet my goals. All in all, BHAC has been a great addition to my routine in 2019 and helped set the tone!

I've been a member of the Brookline Village Beacon Hill Athletic Club for years, and love it! Friendly, down to earth energy. I had a great training experience with club manager Will Campbell, in preparing for a bike trip. He was knowledgeable, and supportive while encouraging me to push myself to improve. Definitely a great place to get in shape!

Beacon Hill Athletic Club in Brookline Village is a small neighborhood club that suits all of your basic needs, with friendly welcoming staff. It has an extensive weight lifting equipment selection for its small footprint and there is never a wait for cardiovascular equipment. There is a studio with some classes, though there are not tons of class options at this location. Towel service and clean bathrooms/locker rooms/showers are great additions. The personal training services are also really amazing here, led by Will Campbell, the club manager who also is an excellent, skilled and experienced trainer. All in all, this BHAC branch is smaller than other fancier clubs in Boston (bonus - it also costs less); it is a convenient neighborhood option that meets all of your basic training needs and is all around a welcoming place to come and work out.

Great local gym. You're not going to get new equipment, but what it has is more than serviceable, with a great variety of machines and free weights. The low-key and friendly atmosphere is lovely, and outside of weekends and college vacation weeks it's rarely even vaguely packed.

Gym is never too busy, I go 5 days per week. Very convenient for Brookline employees and residents and very affordable. Will, Max and Ryan do a great job running the gym and satisfying clients. 💯

Great local gym—I like the variety of cardio machines and classes (mostly spinning). Staff members are very friendly, towels are provided, and there is a large weight room for use as well. Even at peak seasons/hours there is plenty to do and I never find myself waiting to use anything! The year-long commitment is the best deal I've found while shopping for gyms in the area, but month-to-month is also available for not much more.
