After researching some different fitness options, I decided that Fitness Together in Belmont had what I was looking for and I was so right. First and foremost, the staff there are exceptional - very positive, friendly and knowledgeable. I was worried being so out of shape, that the exercises would be too much for me, but they are actually tailored to my needs. The trainers follow a specialized plan for me and modify it depending on any injuries I have. The workouts are just challenging enough and I never feel like I over did it with muscle pain for days. They also work with clients on nutrition and help to come up with a plan that is sustainable. I highly recommend Fitness Together in Belmont - I am really so happy with my experience there and actually look forward to my strength training sessions!

I have been doing person training at FT Belmont for around 9 months and I love it! The trainers are all so kind, encouraging and positive I never liked to work out until I started at FT. I've been coming here for the last 6ish months for the Pack Group Training. I'm a 32 year old woman who used to be a lot more active, but lost my routine in the past few years as my career picked up. It was overwhelming thinking about joining a gym and trying to get active again on my own, so I tried Fitness Together. Since joining, I've seen an improvement in my endurance, flexibility, and overall, I just feel better. It's the perfect way to end my week - everyone is friendly, the environment is welcoming and not intimidating at all. I highly recommend to anyone who is just getting started, but I know they also do great work for people who are going for peak performance too!

I’ve been going here for almost 12 weeks. The group workouts have been phenomenal. Meghan and Manny keep the sessions fun and challenging. I was looking for a place to hold me accountable to building strength and keeping good habits. The attention and support I’ve received is more than I ever expected. I have been coming to FT for about 3 months now and am very pleased with my experience and progress so far. All of the trainers I have worked with have been very knowledgeable and encouraging. I have done mostly the small group ‘pack’ classes so far which I am really enjoying! They are challenging without being intimidating to a strength training newbie. There are ample opportunities to increase intensity if you are looking to challenge yourself, but modifications available for any skill level. The nutrition coaching and cardio plan were also very helpful and the trainers make it a point to check in on these aspects during every class to keep you accountable. The facility is very clean, and cardio machines for members to use any time definitely a bonus! Would not hesitate to recommend FT for anyone looking for an effective workout program in a friendly and welcoming environment!

This place has literally changed my life. That sounds dramatic, but I can't overstate how much of an impact coming to FT Belmont has had on me.In the past, I've tried both regular gyms and crossfit gyms, but could never make a routine stick for more than a few months. At regular gyms, I felt self-conscious and was unsure of how well I was structuring my workouts. At crossfit gyms, I found it difficult to get to know people and never really fit in.I started coming to FT Belmont in November 2021, with the intent of only sticking around for a month. It's now been a year and a half. One of the things that sets this place apart, and the reason I keep coming back, is the sense of community and accountability I've felt from everyone who works there. Every trainer I've worked with has genuinely cared about how I'm doing and about helping me reach my goals. Now I pretty much associate going to the gym with a chance to catch up, vent, and joke around with the staff, instead of seeing it as some sort of daunting or miserable task to get out of the way.One other thing that's also made a huge difference for me is how everything is individualized--if you're trying to recover from an injury or strengthen a particular muscle group, they design your workout around those specific goals, and periodically update the workout as your goals change. When I first started, I was trying to recover from an IT band injury, and they worked with me to overcome it so I could start hiking again. In the time since then, I've also managed to lose 20 lbs, and I've noticed how much happier and healthier I feel day-to-day. Recently, I experienced a bout of hypothyroidism, but was still able to maintain my weight loss and keep my metabolism up by working with the trainers to stay on track with my exercise regime.On top of all of that, it doesn't hurt that they just renovated a few months ago, so the space and most of the equipment looks brand new. I'd still go regardless, but it's a nice bonus.
