Pivotal Fitness - Summerville

I have had other gym memberships. I won't need any other after Pivotal Fitness Summerville because I have finally found a gym where I actually WANT to go back.You aren't treated like just another body. They take the time to get to know you. The instructors are very interactive with you both during class after. You aren't looked down on because you aren't very strong, or flexible, or simply cannot do some of the exercises. You are offered suggestions for alterations and encouragement from both Staff and Patrons. Thank you Pivotal Fitness Summerville for giving me a gym worth coming to to work out and go to classes.

Pivotal is an awesome place to work out! It’s a little bit more expensive than the $10/month gyms, but the facility is huge and I never find myself having to wait for equipment to become available. Not to mention the staff is SO friendly and helpful, and the gym is very clean. I’ve had a great experience so far!

I have been coming to Pivotal for about 5 years now and have no plans of leaving any time soon. I feel so at home here and the front staff is very nice! The level of cleanliness has improved greatly, every time I’m there, I see someone cleaning. There are members from all walks of life that come to this gym making it feel safe no matter where you are in your fitness journey.

Been looking for a gym in the Charleston area to call home and this is it! If your goal is to get a good lift in and not worry about waiting your turn with quality equipment you’ve found it. Another plus is the kids club, my daughter loves going with me to the gym so much! All around it’s clean, well staffed, reasonably priced, and everything a gym rat could ask for! Go to Bill for membership advice, he was very knowledgeable and helpful with a positive energy!

I like this gin better than crunch down the street. The equipment is nice and new and it's a much bigger facility. Not as crowded either.

Glad I found this gem. I’m on a work trip/vacation and was on a mission to find a gym with a reasonable daily drop in fee. Started with Crunch and they’re charging $25 each day for an over crowded gym!! Pivotal, not only has a cheaper $10 dollar fee but there is a lot more equipment that is new, friendly staff, multiple rooms for other fitness needs and a lot less crowded. The guy below my review must be on crack with the old equipment review…..

This place is great. I have to laugh about the person complaining about the carpet. It's a gym not a 10 million dollar training facility, don't like it? You pay to have all the equipment moved and put back in place. As far as the "broken equipment"? That happens, it breaks with use. Think the equipment is outdated? Take out a 500,000 loan and open your own gym with all new equipment then charge the members 100 bucks a month. The equipment here is great, I belonged to another gym over in Nexton that was the size of the men's locker room here charged 10.00 more a month and had more broken equipment and 75% less selection🤯 mind blowing I know.Lastly, needing to provide a cancelation notice isn't new. It's pretty common, I had to do the same thing at my last gym.Long story short this place is great. Someone will always have something to complain about without using common sense and looking at the other side of things.

This is my home gym. Great equipment and a wide selection. Everything is clean. The staff is very pleasant. There are some cool classes here as well. I’m all about the personal training and lifting weights. Fellow gym members are courteous.
