24 Hour Fitness

Apparently a regular memebership doesn't cover this one, although if you take a look at it it looks like an ordinary 24 hour fitness. Never would have guessed by it's appearance. I think it's just a scheme to get you to upgrade. $$

Steam room is turned off for about 4 hours from 1 in the morning to 4 in the morning I'll try to ask customer service about it and they told me that it's working which is obviously not I actually have to go to another 24 Hour Fitness after my workout just to use the steam room really disappointed that I have to go to a downgrade 24 Hour Fitness after I pay for my upgrade

Parking lot is always full. However, it doesn't reflect when you walk into the gym... that's a big plus since I don't like waiting.

The of locker at this location is not recommended.I found my locker was broken in and $500 cash was gone.I reported to the 24 hr employee but they're not seemed to care at all.On the same day It happened to my son too.

Went there with my girlfriend just moved to the area wanted to sign up and get a workout in took 15 minutes still not seen! We end up working out they take our ID's.We try to get your after then leave another 15 mintues we ask for our ID's back 3 times they keep calling people and making excuses saying busy so we left AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

So disappointed they don't have the precore elliptical machine here. They only have star trac wish was awful in tracking calories burned. I basically wasted my time coming here. Find another gym if you need a cardio burn.

Decent gym with a lot of machines. Good open run bball Great trainers if needed but some employees customer service may need to be worked on. Super sport but I never seen or used wifi

Why is this a 3.9?! Place is a solid 4.5! They provide- Modern equipment- Clean and spacious sauna, steam room, pool, and overall facility- Towels!!- Very good ventilationEtc

Long Story Short: I was fat shamed because I just wanted to try out the gym for the 3 day “free” trial and I didn’t want to pay $58 for a 2 month trial. If I could give them zero stars I would.Long Story:So I am currently a Crunch member and because I have some extra cash, I wanted to see what 24 hour fitness had to offer. Nothing out of the norm to look for a better gym once you have a more financially stable income. So I convinced my two other siblings to join along with me. We agreed that we would do the three day “free” trial and if it was worth it we would cancel our Crunch gym membership and make the switch.We go into the gym and are set up with a tour from Ernesto (worker). We take a survey before the tour and we start the tour. During the tour Ernesto asks basic questions about what our goals were blah blah blah. I tell him I want to be at a 20-23% body fat. He very uneducatedly pulls percentages out of his ass that don't make any sense. (RED FLAG NUMBER 1) He ends his speal about body fat percentage by saying “We can check the chart up front to get the percentages more clear” Following, the three of us are seated and he starts crunching out the numbers. He says “So for the monthly we can get you started off with a monthly fee of $38.xx and since you are bringing in two additional people their rates will be $25.xx.” I say, “That’s fine but right now we are paying at Crunch but feel that 24 has more to offer we are here to try it out for the three day “free” trial.” He looks at me and very condescending says “Remind me again why you are here?” staring at my body. (side note, im not in shape but I’ll admit I am a bit overweight but it’s nothing too serious, Just an average 5.9 195lb person). I respond with “Well from the survey and our conversation I’m here because I want to lose some weight and build muscle.” (RED FLAG NUMBER 2) He doesn’t say anything else and he follows it up with, “Let me see what I can do for you all and see what my boss says”. He goes to talk to a total of two people pretending as if a three day “free” trial is the END OF THE WORLD. He comes back and starts talking MAD salesman jargon “Well you see for you three today, only for this time, we can take out this fee, and that fee, and in total you will be paying $58 dollars for a 2 month trial”. (RED FLAG NUMBER 3) I say “Look I am not going to be paying two gym memberships. Your company website clearly says “Three day free trial”. I wanted to take that free trial without commitment so that maybe 24 hour fitness can win over our business. If the free trial that is advertised is too much of a bother than thats fine I’ll just keep my Crunch gym membership and leave.” He responded with 2018’s most terrible sale mans response “We’ll you can go ahead and do that…” (RED FLAG NUMBER 4) I got up and started laughing out loud because of the shear stupidity. One, I am telling you my situation and I am asking only what your company advertises. Two, I am bringing along two other people in a group to sign up for your gym. Three, you’re going to try to humiliate me to sign up? XD This place is a joke if it employees people like Ernesto.Also he had the nerve to send a followup email with a “Guest Workout Pass”. To my surprise he signed me up and the other two people with guest workout passes. Funny thing is that they had no Guest Workout numbers attached to the email. Which leaves me to think that he finished signing us up to boost his sign up numbers without our consent. I don’t know what the purpose exactly of this is other than to boost some sign up numbers but Corporate should take a look at this. (Red Flag Number 5)Thanks for reading. Happy New Year!

I went there today for the first time. Well it is a clean place...i can give it that but...I think 24 hour fitness in general need to train all employees on what passes can be used where because I called the Lakewood gym and this gym and was told yes ur pass is good for both... I go to Cerritos today and get a totally lame excuse...that it is not good for both and I would need to upgrade. Now...Lakwood is a Supersport...Cerritos is a supersport. I am from the Lakewood gym...have been there forever and 24 hour fitness has me listed as going to an ACTIVE gym.. wrongggggg so now I see why people go to crunch or planet fitness or LA fitness....as 24 hour fitness just wants to sham u into paying more.
