Crunch Fitness - Odessa

I called to cancel my membership and they informed me that it was canceled, a week later my account was drafted for the annual fee plus the membership fee, I called that same day to inform them of this and that I had canceled my membership a week ago, the worker informed me that she wasn’t able to do anything about it, I asked to speak to a manager, she got my information and told me someone would call me back, no one ever did, I went in person after work and spoke to the manager about my situation which he stated that he could only refund me the membership fee back but not the annual fee and he would cancel my membership , the manager took off to get a pen and paper to get my information, but he didn’t return, instead he sent one of his employees to get my information, to me I felt he was not concerned about my situation and wanted to brush me off especially since he did not come back. Three weeks now I still have not received my refund nor has my membership has been canceled, called again and explained to them which now I received a name of the manager who I spoke with (Mike). The employee got my number down to have Mike call me back and to this day he has not called me back. Mike nor the employees do not care about their customers and their concerns. I won’t be surprised if I get charged next month because it seems they are refusing to cancel my membership. 😡

Someone stole my identity and got a membership with crunch my Credit card was placed under fraud.I kept receiving calls from the main Office in Amarillo when I explain to them two times what happened they told me to call the gym here in Odessa which I did, The first time I called they wrote a note and said they would have a manager call me. Never did get a call back, I called again and asked to speak to a manager The lady that answered was so rude about it. And even said so herself that managers don’t care and that he was to busy talking to someone else. I kept on receiving calls from the main office asking for a payment. When I never even been to this gym before.I finally went to the gym to speak to a manager in person, the girl in the front went to the back to get the manager came back with a sheet of paper and pen told me that the manager had said to write down my statement and he would get back to me. At this point I was already Fed up with the runaround. I went ahead made the payment because I do not want this to affect my credit because I have no idea if it does or not. The people that work there are no help at all and the managers don’t care for you. And I’m sure the employees know this since the first girl that answered the phone said it herself. And I’m sure they will still charge me for another month and cancellation fee. As another review stated, The same thing happened to them.

The gym is nice. Not so much staff and management it’s hard to get a hold of a manager. Showed up 3 times to get fit assessment and no one ever showed up. Tried calling a manager for 2 weeks and no one called back. Staff usually doesn’t say hi.

Walked in right now to get pricing and to take a tour because I just moved here. Guy at the front desk did not seem interested in my business at all. Just told me that pricing was online instead of just taking the time to go over it with me. then he just told me to have a seat like it was busy. There was no one else at the front desk. I was going to switch from planet to this gym but I will stay at planet because their staff is not rude.

They do not care about the customers. Very rude when canceling membership. Could care less about their customers. They do communicate with each other. Everyone seems lost and the are always looking to pass the buck. Very frustrating dealing with them. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. It is 10-6-2021 and still having issues with canceling my son's membership. This place is a joke. I can't understand why it is so hard to cancel

It was very intimidating at first, having no gym experience, and being just slightly overweight, and not knowing what I was doing! My first time to walk into the facility, they were quick to get me hooked up with a membership and they were professional. I did the “smart start” a few days later with Adam as my trainer for the day, and I thought it went great! Although it nearly killed me having not worked out in several years lol! Since then, I’ve been going to the facility almost daily, and definitely love getting back in shape. As long as it isn’t too crowded. Although I don’t interact with the staff very much, I’d say they’ve been helpful and professional in the event that I had a question or concern. Definitely having a good experience so far! 👍🏼

It’s a very clean place. The staff is very nice and the bathrooms are always in good condition. I use the sauna and tanning and they are always clean as well. I go around noon so it’s not too packed. There are enough machines for everyone and enough space to do solo workouts (like sit-ups, jump rope etc)Overall my fav gym in Odessa

All the group classes are superb, especially Angela & Jonathan's classes. You leave satisfied. The gym is clean & relaxed. There is always a machine available to use so you don't have to wait. Great atmosphere to workout at. I will recommend

As a member this Gym is amazing... their employees were very friendly, always greeting you once you come in. Another thing is that if something has ran out as in the cleaning supplies they will fix that immediately. The gym is always clean and the machines work perfectly. :D 10 out of 10 recommend.

Amazing place to begin your fitness journey! The staff is friendly and very helpful. A shout out to Anthony (a trainer there) who is amazing and definitely gave me that push to really jump in and get started. They offer daycare services which I put my daughter in and from day one she loved it. The equipment, restrooms and daycare are all kept clean and sanitized in order to help you have a good gym experience. Overall it's a great place!
