Crunch Fitness - Odessa

We had a membership there and canceled and they called us on a Sunday evening at 5pm saying that we had a “past due balance” and that they were sending it to collections soon but that if we would “re right” our membership and sign up again with them today they would erase our past due fees and not send us to collections… I don’t know what kind of fear selling tactics they’re trying on people but it’s absolutely terrible and illegal. We knew better than to know that is true and told them we were not interested. But I know it’s probably working on some people and it’s so wrong.I’d like to see how to report this to the city because I can’t believe they’re allowing a business to function that way.

-Unfriendly, and unwelcoming staff.-Didn't acknowledge me as I walked in.-I asked for a tour, and was looked at like he didn't know what I just asked him.-he then proceeded to help the person who came in behind me and I was basically dismissed to the front waiting area.-waited for 20 mins MORE, only to be passed over again, and then ignored.-decided to try another gym.If this is your customer service when someone is interested in becoming a member, or even in general with your members, you just saved me $30 a month!Thank you!

This is the best experience I've had with a larger gym in Odessa. The team really seems to take their roles seriously and the equipment is always in great shape. It's rare that anything is out of order and if it is, it's only out for a few days. This is a true premier-level gym with a bargain of a price.

This gym isn't as busy as the midland one, the staff isn't as friendly, and it definitely could use just a lol bit more attention to the cleaning, I've seen more dust bunnies then here then tumbleweeds in the desert. However, the fact that I can get in and get out at 2pm is awesome.

Joined Crunch when I worked out in midland. I quit so I was no longer able to be work out at crunch .I’m in Dallas now I called them and let them know that . they said I had to make another payment for my account to be caught up even though I haven’t been there that month. But after I made that due payment I could cancel my membership.I had to wait because I was low on funds and I was trying to save money to make it to my grandfathers funeral they ended up making my account go negative charging me the gym fee. When I got my check from my new job to deposit they but my check on a two day hold bc of the negative balance. Now I won’t have gas money to make it to my grand fathers funeral. I was really upset I just wanted to cancel so they don’t charge me more and they said they had to take out another payment and I can use the gym for one more month. And that’s the cancellation process I just hung up that really messed up man .

They use to be a great gym. Lately it's been nasty. Trash left everywhere. Either paper towels are empty or disinfectants are empty. Weights are left where they don't go and people are not wiping down after they use equipment.The staff at night are nice though. They always have a positive attitude and greet you when you come and go with smiles.

This gym is great and clean! The guy I always see working during the day is super nice but the girls working the front desk are very rude most times. They don’t give a friendly greeting or even a smile when I approach, they slam the scanner down on the counter and even rolled her eyes at me today! I brought a guest with me before and needed to know how to check him in and they were walking around in the front lobby just staring at me not asking if I needed help. As much as I love this gym, it’s very off putting to deal with the negativity immediately walking in the door! I’m also not one to leave negative reviews but I do see them being very friendly with the men walking through the door vs the women so it definitely doesn’t seem right to me!

Air conditioning at 80° Inside? I thought it was a gym not a sauna! No way.

Went for quick workout after work. Nice and clean as usual, not too crowded.

Good gym. But now it seems like there is t enough help to fix all the leg machines that are out of service.
