Great staff; coach Amy is amazing with the kids. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the curriculum and it's not just an hour of rolling around and burning energy. I definitely recommend this school!

Gracie Barra St. Louis is a great school for anyone of any age to learn the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The instructors are very knowledgeable and work very closely with all their students to ensure they are continuously improving. GB St. Louis is the best school of BJJ I've ever been a part of!!!!

My son has been going for a year and loves it. All of the instructors are excellent and Professor Mike has put in lot of work making the school environment top notch. The classes are a good size and there is a great deal of attention paid to each student. They make very good use of more advanced students helping with the younger kids. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone.

My kids wanted to sign up for BJJ lessons so we went in to talk the folks at Gracie Barra. My wife and I were so impressed with Professor Mike and Coach Colin, that I signed up the entire family. We have been here for almost two years now and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It truly is a family atmosphere and the staff at GB really care about you and your kids.

I've been training at Gracie Barra for a couple months now and that place is AWESOME!!! The people are so nice and patient to help me when I'm having trouble learning a new move. Everyone there is incredibly kind and all people are treated with respect. Professor Mike is an AMAZING teacher who really knows his stuff and all his students get taught really well. So if you are looking for a place to learn the art of self defense, Gracie Barra is the place to do it.

Great school! Excellent instructors. My son LOVES everything about the school. I have seen a clear change in self confidence since he has started, so much that it was even noted by his teacher on his report card. Outstanding environment if you want to reinforce respect, helpful attitude, positivity and of course the sport itself.

I like many parents had talked about signing the last child home into some type of Martial Arts program. I was driving down Bryan road in O’Fallon Mo a little over a year ago and saw a new Gracie Barra school was open. I had heard of Gracie Barra schools many years in the past when I was in the Marine Corps and always wanted to do it myself, but after crossing the 50-year-old barrier I felt my time had passed, but I did sign up my son. Professor Mike was in Ca at that time and one of his coaches, Colin was instructing classes. For two weeks I enjoyed watching the classes and style of the instruction, and was happy to find out that Professor Mike had taught Coach Colin from his first day. To add to that over the course of the next 9 months I have met other instructors to include Professor Jake the head instructor at the West County School in Balwin Mo that Professor Mike taught from their first days. I am writing this review because I believe that they are all a direct reflection of the Gracie Barra system and Professor Mike’s training. They do not tolerate people that just want to use others as a punching bag, but teach from day one about being a team, and a team with integrity. I enjoy being around the Gracie Barra system and yes the day after I met Professor Mike I also became part of the Gracie Barra Family.

Gracie Barra St. Louis is truly a one of a kind school. The instructors and coaches have cultivated an environment where everyone, regardless of skill, is made to feel that they are a vital member of a team. The family like atmosphere makes everyone feel welcome, and fosters an effective platform for training as your opponents quickly change from simple training partners, to close friends. If you are interested in training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, you wont find a better place to do so. Do yourself a favor, and check it out!

The training facility is top notch and always very clean and well maintained. Whether you're someone who's serious about competing in BJJ/MMA or you're doing it because you simply enjoy the challenging workouts and want to develop the skills to better defend yourself- Gracie Barra is the best in St. Louis. The instructors are all very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They create an exciting and nonthreatening training environment with classes for all skill levels that have top notch professionally developed curriculum. I don't have any children in the kids classes but have caught the end of a number of them and every child on the mat seems to be having a blast learning the fundamentals of BJJ and making new friends. Learning BJJ is extremely rewarding and I really enjoy completing the demanding workouts with friendly individuals from all walks of life, going to class never gets old because everyone is continually growing and learning together. Anyone considering Gracie Barra St. Louis should try a class out- you'll be glad you did!

My son tried a class and loved it and we signed him up. I thought that I could stand to lose a few lbs and was tired of the gym scene and the treadmills. So I decided to try it as well. What a great decision that was! The training is well organized and will definitely put you through your paces. The coaches are outstanding and really want to see everyone improve. I would highly recommend checking them out if you have ever considered trying it. Once you try it you will find how helpful everyone is to helping you reach your goals.
