My husband and I went to talk about Personal Training at the gym! At the front desk we met Bailee! She was so helpful and spent the time to answer all of our questions! She became my personal trainer… and she is awesome!! She listened to what I need from her and she gives 100 percent plus! I have learned so much from her! She is smart, she knows her stuff! I am always learning and I look forward to my time at the gym because of her!!!

My PT Bailey is awesome! She really cares about her clients. She's flexible and she applies feedback and works on adjusting her style to you. I really love working with her. It's low pressure and I feel like I'm succeeding even if I don't hit every goal perfectly. I just feel healthier. :)

The gym is extremely clean and well organized with plenty of space so you don’t feel crammed or rushed. Plenty of squat racks, barbell &weights, and then pretty much every machine and piece of gym equipment you can think of . Staff is very friendly and helpful - especially Maddy and Marci! Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the area!

I have had a personal trainer for over a year here. I had to freeze my account for a few months because of some money troubles. My trainer unfroze my account without notifying me and my bank account overdrafted. My trainer blamed me and informed me it was my fault for not telling him I needed to continue my freeze. I could not get help from anyone at the company. I’m very upset and I am in the process of canceling my membership.

Let's be clear, EOS is probably the best value gym with Planet fitness being comparable. However, if you're looking to pay $356 for 1 personal training session then this may be the gym for you!Be very weary of their employees when signing up for a membership or using the body scanner, especially when it comes to the topic of fitness goals and personal training. Especially an employee named Rye Cook, the fitness manager at the Ogden Eos location.I am a very busy college student currently pursuing Medical Laboratory Sciences at the U's school of medicine, I'm usually studying, attending lectures, working on case studies, and doing labs for the better part of 9ish hours a day plus travel. Suffice to say I don't have a lot of time to workout. That being said, I was persuaded into trying out a personal trainer session for $19. I told them I don't really wanna look or sign for anything long term, and I'd rather just have tips. Rye didn't listen, kept insisting I try it out, and pushed me to sign a 6 month contract at $79 biweekly for 1 training session a week. He said to "come to him personally" if the first session didn't workout and I would get my money back. There was essentially "no risk".The first session was fine, the personal trainer was friendly and gave a good workout. However I suffered from severe muscle soreness which prevented me from some responsibilities I had in the lab, I pushed on through. My schedule got even busier with another class being put onto my schedule so I just couldn't do personal training. I asked Rye to cancel my personal training, however the window for cancelling to recieve a refund was 3 days. Interesting. However, I could get that money back if I presented a doctor's note. No. I'm not bothering a busy doctor's office for muscle soreness or to validate my condition. That's ridiculous. So I asked just to cancel it outright and pay the fee associated with cancelation, I really value my time at this stage as I head into medical rotations in a couple weeks. That's a $100 cancelation fee plus a month in advance.Great so so far I've paid $19, plus $79, and now I will have to pay $100 cancelation fee plus two more payments of $79 in the future. Totalling $356 for 1 personal training session.Keep in mind I said I didn't want to sign anything long term and it was "risk-free". Just as I type this the last $79 has left my account. Hurray. So, avoid the personal training here. You're better off finding a nice friendly local showing you some tips than signing a lease agreement to a $95/hr trainer (1x 25 minute workout once a week, billed $79 biweekly, $1.58 a minute = $94.8/ hr.)However, I'll end up keeping my membership. Mainly for my brother who loves to swim. The pool is rather small but hey he gets a kick out of it. If you don't care for a pool, go to Planet fitness honestly. They get a bad wrap, but you might end up saving more money.*Update*I was promised a refund for the troubles and it has since been a month since I was contacted. No refund has been issued and there is a severe lack of communication from everyone. I'll officially be escalating this to the BBB. I will be taking further action from this point as well. This problem stems everywhere it seems, be very weary of the folks who work here.
