Update: They are really struggling with maintaining equipment again. Some weight machines have been broken/ unusable for what seems like over 2 months. Now all machines that work some muscle groups (quads for example) are unusable making it problematic to get a complete workout. I'm hoping they get things fixed soon.Update: Vasa's response to my review is an auto response to make it look like they care. They never reached out to me. That being said, since multiple people gave negative reviews for this location, it seems that management has made a bit of an effort to get things under control. The hot water heater has been fixed for a while now. Staff seem to be making more efforts to to clean. Still doesn't look like the locker rooms get mopped and a urinal is broken long term and not likely to get fixed any time soon. It does seem like some members, maybe out of frustration, appear to be extra hard on the facilities.Original post:You pay for maintenance but they don't invest in maintenance and cleaning. Locker rooms rarely if ever get cleaned. Hot water heater has been out for almost a month. Equipment breaks and can stay broken for months. Staff say the company has one maintenance person for the entire area. Staff who hear the complaints from members don't have the ability to fix things are on the verge of quitting.Nice facilities but poorly maintained.On the other hand, if you have to disable a credit card and forget to update it in their system, rather than notify you that you need to update your account, they immediately give you a $50 fee after trying to run the card the first time. You can tell what's important to management and it's not taking care of their clients.

I went in to get a membership today and met a gentleman named Micah. He was friendly and very helpful. He helped me pick my membership and answered all my questions with ease. It had been a while since I’ve been inside a gym and I was nervous but thanks to him I was very comfortable by the end of the tour! He definitely deserves a raise!

Out of all of the gyms I’ve been to in Utah, VASA is the best! Clean facilities, the staff is super nice and I LOVE the Cinema work out room. My ONLY complaint is the parking.. not a whole lots of parking at the Ogden gym but only around 5pm..

This place is a RIP off. They charged my sister, Keri Casper $78 per month and she only went 2 months using the gym a total of 9 times for about 20 minutes for each visit. They charge $22 just to cancel. BEWARE OF THIS RIP OFF GYM. They make you jump through a lot of hoops to cancel. Planet Fitness is a much better place, less expensive and not difficult to cancel. They have a $10 membership special until August 31st.

Ive been to soo many Vasa's since moving from Riverton to north salt lake to now ogden. Im a huge fan of vasa gyms. But im giving this location a 1 star because of the handicap parking. Its not REAL Handicapped parking. Im a young man in a wheelchair and they use the hash marks as actual parking spots, which makes it impossible for us wheelchair users to park and get our wheelchairs out of our vehicle. They did this because theyre out of normal parking and had to increase the number of spots for their customers. But they should not have done it the way they did.

You want to know why I LOVE MY GYM FAM SO MUCH!?! it's the little things & they know it! They know when your off... They know not to make a big deal but reach out a token of love, compassionate consideration that says we love you, we see you, we know how hard your working to rebuild yourself, we're pulling for you, we're on your team! That is a BIG DEAL In this life!!! This one came from a guy won't mention names for privacy/respect reasons, but the Ogden/Layton Vasa would never run properly without this guy! He's damn near 7 days a week to keep things running safe & operating for us because he's got a work ethic that Is 2nd to none!He's not making 6 figures I'm sure but SHOULD BE IN MY OPINION! know that I'd pay more any day to give this staff the pay they actually deserve to make here & I'm sure don't.The public needs to value themselves that much!
