Genesis is the best gym I have found that is worth the membership fees! This gym has everything from a full-sized basketball court to an indoor and outdoor swimming pool! I love it here!!

This club has lots of classes that are free with membership. This club is undergoing a massive renovation right now but offers indoor and outdoor pools, racquetball, basketball, yoga, and lots of other programs.

Well, I can tell that they do a good job maintaining the facility, I was assisting to the one at 84th and Q. I decided to go with the month to month because I didn't wanted a commitment and all other fees that members have to put up with. All good no worries until out of the blue they hit me with an "enhancement fee" $41 some dollars out of left field. They tell me now that it was in the contract, funny, they explain every single thing when you come in verbally, but not that one. it's not the $41. and change dollars that bothers, it is the principal. Also now in order to cancel I have to ether come in in person or send an email to the general manager, a guy I never met nor I ever saw in that location. Obviously he's out of touch with his customers because when I called the lady that answer told me that I was not the only one calling about that BS fee today. So, is not the facility, or their people, it is the unethical way they conduct their business that has drove me out of there.

Gym went downhill fast once they changed to Genesis. Even the customer service has plummeted. Tried a few other Genesis facilities around town, they were even less impressive. Cancelled my membership the beginning of January, they continued to bill me 4 more times before I finally stopped payment at my bank. Now they refuse to take responsibility for their errors in the cancellation process, and refuse to credit my account. BEWARE, you may like the experience for the first few weeks because it is new, but you will pay for it in the long run.Update,I received an email stating management would like to resolve this, please email them at a specific email address. I invested 15 more minutes re-establishing the facts for them, just to waste 15 more minutes of my life. Not so much as even an acknowledgement of my communication.

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen, If you are looking for the best gym to come to please give a 1 hour out of your day to stop by 84th and Q Genesis. Katy and Maggy hold down the front desk going above and beyond with there customer service. The entire staff from in the back to the help service desk are absolutely amazing. I love coming here my three days out the week. Great Facility. Great Towels. And got some good food choices with healthy snacks. So if you want a gym to call home just call 84th and Qs Genesis.

I joined the month- to -month option in January 9, 2021 because I am out of the state for four months. When I signed up, they told me it was not a big deal to put it on hold for that time period for $10 a month. Well, it was! I worked out at 5am in the morning and there was never a manager on staff at the time, so I had to conduct it over the phone. It took several phone calls from me and many written messages from the early am staff member to the manager to call me. It was weeks before I connected with anyone. So it finally worked out, only to discover that the second month of being gone, a $41.73 "Enhancement fee" appeared! I called and they told me it was in my contract. Amazing all the slick things that appear in fine print, but are not verbalized. They claim all gyms have it. Well. the wonderful and original Prairie Life never had it and treated their members with consideration. I terminated my contract as of today. YMCA, here I come!

They have the best indoor track out of all the Genesis. As a "Day gym goer", it's nice because everyone has their own routine so plenty of space and the equipment you need is always available for use. Also they are updating the gym and putting in some turf. So if your an athlete this should be your go to gym once that gets put in and if you need help getting in shape. I recommend every one get a trainer to help accomplish all fitness goals. *Weight loss/building muscle/increasing strength/Improving athletic ability/ motivation/ fixing Imbalances*anything fitness related, it's worth $ to invest in yourself. 💪

It is not the club I joined in 2002. It is not well kept, the trainers are few and far between. My trainer who has now left said there where only 2 part time trainers to work with the clients my trainer was leaving behind. My husband and I decided to leave as soon as our contract was done and join a place with a bit more class. The person, LEO, has yet to return any of my (3 ) calls and also told me there was nothing else to do once my contract was over and i did tell him I did not want to renew. But that was in-correct information, I do need to go and sign papers that i will not be renewing. Would not recommend this gym as it is today, it needs help!!!! there is a reason trainers are not sticking around!!!!

I was a member when this gym was Prairie Life, while I am appreciative that Genesis is upgrading the gym, I am not happy with the way they go about the renovation. They shut down 2 racquetball courts at 84 location and then shut down all the courts and do the floors at the 132nd location. They shut down the daycare side and just post a little sign, the communication was terrible. And to compensate for this, they don't expand any daycare hours at any other locations. I say something to management, they tell me to check other locations, but those locations are even more limited! This has been the worse planned renovation I have ever seen in a business with little regard for it's members.
