Drama- filled staff, they rather talk to their friends then communicate with customers. No respect and very rude. They have no cell phone signs posted all over the gym, however people talk on their cell phones anyways.

What a rip off, no obligation, my foot, sign up for the black membership and you cannot cancel for a year without paying $60, plus after second month charge you $40. Not to mention the staff is about as useful as a bump on a log.

The manager there, Grover M Scott, is an unconscionable manager. He accused me of doing something I would never do and when I complained to the Planet Fitness head office, instead of responding back like a real man, he just cancelled my membership. Just as well, it's one of the worse run Planet Fitness around. Find a real gym in the area, one that's run by real professionals in this industry, not some flunky who's never used the equipment he so poorly maintains.

Was told by original Manager "This gym is not for everyone" because not all are welcome! They are a "Judgementmental Zone" in every way. Have seen the "Lunk" siren go off because someone dropped a weight by accident!! Staff treated me and others disrespectfully on several occasions with out warrant. Simple situations that could have been handled professionally and dismissed were blown out of proportion and handled horribly. You couldn't give me a free membership to this facility.

I canceled my membership because I got tired of going to a dirty gym. There is no excuse for dirty equipment, especially when there are 4 employees standing around at the desk talking football with the manager. Came from Planet Fitness in Shippensburg Pa which is spotless.

I have been going here for 4 years and never had an issue with the staff calling me fat until the newest ones. I told the manager and he told me I better watch what I say or he will cancel my membership. All I said is the staff is rude for calling me fat because it's supposed to be a judgement free zone. He said this with his finger in the air and yelling at me. Well he cancelled my membership for being fat because he obviously condones judgement behavior. I'm 126lbs and 5 4, I have been training as much as I can but not appreciate that attitude from a "judgement free" gym. They must think because I have ear buds in my music is on and that I can't hear them when they call me fat or other horrible words when I walk in. Everytime I go there I can never get the staffs attention to use the tanning bed etc because they have their backs turned and on their cell phones or talking about other members. The place is really dirty, trash cans filled, no cleaning spray. Toilets nasty and showers.

I recently just joined planet fitness here in Palm Coast and you would think as a new member they would have someone show you around show you the equipment but they don't. I actually had to ask can someone show me the equipment and how some of it works and how to go about using it the staff is very unfriendly and does not interact with you doesn't come around and ask is everything OK are you finding everything OK is there anything I can help you with do you have any questions they don't advise you on any upcoming classes they are very impersonal at this place. You are very much on your own if it wasn't for the fact that it's not costing me a penny out of my pocket they would never see me I would not belong to this place.

I'm not sure why all the bad reviews, I've belonged to several gyms including two other PF's in other states. This gym is Always clean, staff friendly, loads of equipment. It really is $10 a month so yes you're not receiving lots of personal attention but you're also not paying for it. Staff has always been very friendly if I ask for anything. First time gym goers may benefit from a personal trainer to learn proper technique, equipment and workouts but who would expect that to be included for $10 a month.

need to build another gym in the palm coast area its like everyone goes their i have to wait hours just to used the Machines. it is very pack everyday i go to the gym no one has sympathy for other people to use the machines i am a pf black card member i have no clue why my guess cant use the massage chairs at other locates my guess us the massage chairs and also need to improve customer service

Don't know why they have a staff cause they don't do anything. Billing practices are crazy. They don't bill, it is done by a 3rd party. I found this out the hard way. I had some fraudulent activity on my credit card so the credit company canceled that card and sent out a new one. It didn't occur to me that Planet fitness was using this card. I came in to work out and was told that my membership was cancelled and I would have to pay all kinds of fees on top of the money owed for back months. I was like, why wasn't I called or a note or something letting me know that there was a problem? I was told that they have nothing to do with billing. Staff was very rude and manager apparently has no power to make a company decision for herself. Of course you get what you pay for so don't expect a staff that cares one way or another whether you show up or not or if you do the exercises correctly. You are on your own.
