I have been going to Lifeworks on and off for 23 years. I have a free membership at a recreation center through work. However, Lifeworks’ facilities and amenities blow the rec center out of the water. Times that I paused membership were when I was too busy go, or was in a lazy rut.The facility and equipment is always clean and inviting. The atmosphere is friendly and non-judgmental. Each locker room has its own whirlpool, sauna, and steam room. The lockers have digital locking keypads (no need to bring your own lock).I see a lot of reviews that have negative comments about the price. You get what you pay for, and I think the membership fee is reasonable for what you get from it. Sign up for a free day pass and check it out. You’ll see for yourself what a great fitness center Lifeworks is.

I love LifeWorks! Reading some of the reviews, it’s frustrating. Yes, LW isn’t an inexpensive gym, but it also provides more than the “typical” gym. Where else can you go that has a pool, hot tub, warm water pool, outdoor/indoor track, equipment, free weights and free water and land classes?? The employees are always nice, warm and welcoming. All the classes that I attended were all great, including the instructors. Management is always responsive to surveys; reviews and they generally care about our opinions. The gym is SO clean and the communication is great with their newsletters. There are always things you would want to change, but it’s just personal preferences. LW, keep up the great work and thanks for all that you do!!

Great experience for this "older" female working 1:1 with a personal trainer! Learning to work with weights and the LifeWorks equipment. And enjoying it!!

Expensive at 70/month but very nice, clean, love the sauna, has all the equipment and weights I need. Sometimes I run into aggressive members crowding my space but if I time my visits around the popular classes and times I can usually enjoy a visit. Very nice employees
