I'm a New member of OTF and I had to go to this location because my home studio was closed for two days because they were getting new equipment so I decided to try the Brecksville location for one of those days and this location leaves much to be desired it is not very clean The coach that I had was very dismissive of me and really did not care about modifying the workouts for me due to a recent injury that I had multiple surgeries on I felt like i was treated like an outsider. and I felt like didn't get that good of workout as I do at my home studio.

The workout is always different so you work different muscles and never get bored! The coaches and staff are awesome and motivating. The music is upbeat and the atmosphere is fun! Plus the results are amazing! I am much happier and healthier since becoming a member.

I’ve been going to Orangetheory for 2 months now and absolutely love it. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and informative. I never felt pushed into joining, just impressed with the results even after the 1st class. Coach Rob is awesome. He cares about helping you meet your goals and at the same time pushes you harder to achieve more. He takes the time to improve your form so you can benefit from the workout. So glad I joined.

Ive been a member of OTF over a year and a half. I travel for work and bounce to a variety of studios. This isn’t even my home gym and I love my home gym. This is the first time I’ve written a review on a specific location. I usually pick my classes based off the time that works with my Schedule and what’s available so I end up getting to be in various coaches classes. It’s interesting to see the differences in how people coach and there are a few that just stand out. Coach Marie Bucoy-Calavan-wow! She’s is high energy and ON. Not only does she remember people’s names but she is very attentive to what each person is doing and helps push in a gentle and fun way. Somehow she makes it feel like we are all connected. I literally only just have been in her classes a handful of times and it’s just so refreshing. Marie is the epitome of what a great OTF coach should aspire to be. I LOVE the OTF workout anywhere I go, however it’s the people who REALLY put the icing on the cake. Thank you Coach Marie for making us feel connected in such a disconnecting time. Keep up the amazing work and know you are greatly appreciated.

Good workouts and trainers but customer service staff is weak. I was a member for over a year and was told I couldn’t take a class I was scheduled for because I was 15 mins late. No consideration for what it takes to drive from work, in traffic and get to class - and I had never been late before. Another time I was removed from a class because I was not scheduled for it. This was my mistake. I was on the waitlist but thought I was scheduled. The infuriating part was that I arrived 30+ minutes before class, hung out in the lobby and not one of the people working the desk said a word to me. Instead, they wait until class starts and then throw me out like some sort of vagrant. It was embarrassing and avoidable had they paid attention before hand or kept the iPad check in process in place. I quit that day. Miss the workouts but not the shoddy customer service and having to fight to get into classes that are always full.

I have been a member here for 6 months now mainly because it’s two minutes from my house. The trainers are WONDERFUL and the workouts are great, but unfortunately this OT can’t seem to hire front desk staff that know the meaning of customer service.

Terrible customer service. I wanted to try a free trial class but because it wasnt my “hometown” studio they wouldnt let me (even though its much closer than the strongsville location). They also said that i couldn’t get a free trial because i didnt sound truly interested by the tone of my voice, whatever the hell that means. Sorry i wasn’t screaming with joy about joining Orangetheory. So then I tried using my friends guest pass but I came too late for them to explain the class to me for “safety reasons” even though they had plenty of time to explain it to me (its not hard at all) must’ve just been lazy who knows. I had to go all the way to the strongsville location and they took me in no problem even though i was “late”. They explained the class to me in 10 mins and the class/trainer/front desk was awesome. The brecksville location definitely needs to hire new front desk people asap. And im pretty sure the front desk people leave good reviews about themselves LOL.

Always different. Large foscus on cardio and it is hard to always have variety with cardio. I enjoy the instant feedback of my heart rate throughout the hour. With that I can back down when I need to our keep pushing harder when I might otherwise not. The trainers are great and personable.

Terrible customer service. If I was the owner I'd be furious. I was an OT member about three years ago in a city that's 20 miles away So, I get what it is and how it works. We moved to Brecksville in August and I noticed the OT location in the same plaza where I grocery shop so I finally inquired about trying it out via website form request. Yesterday, someone called me to set up the free class that I inquired about at least a week (or maybe two?!) ago. She said to be there 30 minutes or so before and specifically said if I arrived at 9:45am that was fine. As I was getting in my car at 9:39am (I live 3-4 minutes from this studio), my phone rang. The woman asked if I was coming and when I said I would be there by 9:45am she said "that's too late, you won't be able to take the class." I explained that when someone called me yesterday to schedule that she confirmed I could arrive at 9:45am. I said that I'd been a member a few years ago at a different location so I understood how it works and the safety stuff. She said that if I was a member at a different location, that I could not have the free class. WTF? Same exercise concept, but this is a different gym, different space, with different trainers. I also had major concerns about the class availability / capacity as I don't want to join and not be able to get into classes which is the main reason I quit the other location after a few months. Why would I bother coming in to discuss this if I found that I didn't like the gym or trainers at this location and I'm not going to pay to try it out. Good luck when the next fitness craze comes along and OT is old hat. My guess is you'll be begging for people to try out classes to the point where you are giving a month away for free.
