Employee Jaise represents what it truly means to be a member of Planet Fitness. He showed me all the different workouts and the techniques. He showed me around the place as well which helps me a lot since my husband passed away who always helped me with these working out things.

Always clean. Not overly crowded. Friendly people!

One of the worst places of Planet Fitness I have ever been at as a now former member of pleasant valley in Parma Ohio. The staff member was rude and abrasive with me as a paying customer because my machine was making a noise that it was upsetting the other customers that were more important than me he said. At that point it was the worst interaction with any planet fitness member I’ve ever come across on a Sunday at 7pm at night with only 8 people in the club working out. I asked to see a manager, he refused to even give me access to the manager because apparently they were not there to supervise the staff that night. I asked for a refund since they didn’t mark the machine as a defect or even apologized to me for how I was talked down upon. At that point it was clear that this location at Pleasant Valley did not value me as a customer nor care about the safety of the equipment. I immediately canceled my membership on my phone with them since I’m not valued as an equal paying customer as the other customers at that gym.

Too expensive and won't allow a guest unless you pay over 50 a month.Right...

Friendly environment, clean, perks and I wouldn't look further for any other gym!

Everything looks clean and can’t wait to work out here after signing up with the black membership. But….I’m new to working out and don’t know anything about what perks the membership gets me. How to use the equipment, just learned by asking someone about spraying down the machines.I was told nothing not even where the lockers where. Every question I asked felt like pulling teeth. I’m here, trying to learn how everything works but I guess I’ll have to google my questions because the staff won’t help. You would think you would get a quick rundown of how things work after signing upSaw you can sign up for a trainer to learn how to get started on my fitness journey but still don’t know how to sign up or anything…*Update* Got a call after leaving this review and the lady answered all my questions about how things here work and it helped a lot. Appreciate the follow up and can’t wait to get started!

Very friendly staff and clean facility.

This location..... where do i start my list of complaints?! I guess here: How dare you be open for over a year and I not have any knowledge of it. (Because this is of course your fault... the laziness to research anything for myself, that fault falls purely on the business owner). And how dare you have so much spacious room to meander around in peace whilst working out?! One could get caught up in a fit of 'jam sessions' to their favorite music caused purely by the thrill and pump of muscle exertions... just dangerous!!! Planet fitness is meant for crowds of mean, sweaty humans breathing down one another's necks! Please, don't get me started on your staff.... a friendly hello when i enter, a pleasant farwell as i leave?! What is the matter with these young humans that graciously harass every customer. Your equipment is still shiny so it must not be of good quality. Your floors are too clean to have had much traffic. Your tanning.... i turn my nose up at. Newer beds, ew. In rooms one could quite possibly have room enough to frolic around in?! Thats just too big and too much.... AND THE LOCKER ROOMS.... they don't smell of rooten protein poos and dirty socks. How do you even call yourself a gym?!?!?!Planet fitness is a chain gym people!!! Not a friggin country club! If you do not know about fees or times or this or that, IT'S YOUR FAULT! YOU sign a contract when you join, it's your fault you didnt educate yourself before signing bc you are lazy like most the american public! This gym fits the bill and goes above the rest under their name. So for those w shi*ty reviews, go pay the $80+/mo at another gym where you will be treated like a ghost. Training gyms dont give 2 sh*ts about anything but protein and gainz... i know. I am a member of a few. And if you are on here crying about your poor experience (most likely caused by your poor personality) my guess is you wouldnt fit in there either. As a member to both planet fitness and multiple other gyms, id like to say, i tip my hat to this location. You exceed what you are standing to be. I would also like to take the time to say thank you!!! Thank you for staying open later than most PF, thank you for having much more room than most PF, thank you for always welcoming me, and always telling me to have a good day... some days i need to hear that and look forward to it.. Thank you for being dang clean!!!!! I can breath without fear in your gym!!! And your tanning... top of the bar! Better than most tanning salons and surely better cost wise! Still in awe over your check in process, i never have to wait, and the lighting in the rooms makes my muscles look killer in selfies. ;-) There will always be critics but know that there are many of us out here that appreciate what you all do day in and day out! Hopefully more will come forward in giving their praises as too many are quick to ridicule and not commend. And if nothing else, maybe this just gave u a few chuckles and a minute of entertainment.Tis all! <3THANK YOU PF PLEASANT VALLEY! YOU ROCK!
