Spark Crossfit is the best thing happened to me when I ’m looking to get back into shape after gaining so many pounds from my shoulder injury. I am taking the CrossFit challenge now and lost around 13 lbs after 4 weeks & 2 more weeks to lose 7lbs and I am confident that I will complete the challenge. Initially hesitated to join CrossFit as they usually have group sessions and no one would take time to coach personally but I was wrong, Spark coaches are AWESOME they walk to each & everyone during the workout session, give great tips to improve and provide alternate workouts if the workout is too hard for you. I worked with Coach Brandon, Coach Ryan & Coach Tyler and these guys are great, kind, awesome, helpful and knowledgeable with what they are doing. Thank you so much guys for keeping up with me! The CrossFit members are so welcoming, supportive and fun to workout with, cheers Sparkies! The best part of Spark CrossFit is the nutrition plan that Erin gives which is tailored per your body weight, fat percentage and BMI. I am a foodie and thought they would cut down my quantity of intake but no, the diet plan she gave allows me to eat my favorite foods in a systematic way. Thanks Will and Erin (and baby Zoe!) for this awesome place.

I literally drive past 5 other crossfit gyms to go to Spark because they have a welcoming and friendly community, knowledgeable and helpful trainers, and a pair of awesome owners who pride themselves on the successes of their members.I started at Spark with a body fat challenge to drop 5% in 6 weeks to begin 2018. The nutrition coach helped me balance my macros and eat the right amount of calories, while the trainers patiently helped me to learn all the new movements and exercises in the crossfit workouts. There are classes starting as early as 5am and as late as 7.30pm, plus options for more rigorous cardio classes as well, so I could get training on my schedule. The synced apps they run at Spark and amenities in the bldg (like a shower!) make for a great place to train.Did I mention the community is great?! The support shown to me by strangers who have quickly become friends is unmatched in my years working out.

I have been a member at Spark almost a year now and joining was the best decision I made. Such a great atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and approachable. The coaches are very helpful, knowledgeable and fun to be around. As for equipment and space it’s very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend 10/10.

Come for the fitness but stay for the amazing community. I love this gym!! I've been with Spark Crossfit for 3 years and before that I had never touched weights and was a dedicated cardio girl, but I used to have recurring issues with my knees from running on the pavement and canals.Since I joined, I've been able to strength my legs with weight training and haven't needed physical therapy in 3 years. The coaches have been amazing as they've taught me the basics and made sure I used correct form and lighter weights so I didn't get injured.Don't be scared because of all the crazy stories you hear about Crossfit. Just go slow and listen to your coaches. You'll be glad you did! Highly recommend!!!

I went through the Challenge program and had great success and noticeable results. Erin and Abby were great coaches and supporters throughout the Challenge program. I have been in Crossfit classes for 3 weeks now and am loving it. All the rest of the coaches are very knowledgeable and supportive. I’m stoked to see how my health and body transforms over the year. Spark Crossfit grades an A++++++

I have been going to Spark now for 3 months. I started my journey through one of their challenges. I was very hesistant at first since I have a previous back injury so I worried about aggravating it during work outs. The coaches listened to my worries and always suggested ways for me to scale down yet still get a good work out. We were coached in nutrition as well as our work outs. I lost 12lbs or so in 6 weeks! The gym offers so many classes. Recently learned about a weightlifting class. Spoke to one of the coaches that teaches it regarding my back and he made me comfortable in deciding to take the classes. Everyone is knowledgeable, and to me at least more importantly, caring. They want you to succeed. The community is amazing. Always cheering you on, sharing their stories etc. Honestly the reason I signed up for the challenge was due to the fact that any review I read mentioned how great everyone is.

I’ve been a member of Spark for a year and a half now and every moment has been amazing. Plenty of classes during the day, and there’s more than just CrossFit here: there’s weightlifting, challenge classes, and bootcamp styled high intensity classes to get your engine going. The gym also hosts a variety of competitions along with other gyms around the Valley, it’s a great environment for competitors. The community is the other solid aspect to this place- it’s great and everyone pushes each other to strive for their goals. There have also been a number of relationships to come out of the gym, so if you’re looking for love...The gym is growing in members, and soon, space! Definitely worth a check out and it’s super easy to get to since it’s just off the 202 and 143 near Sky Harbor.

I started at Spark CrossFit by participating in their 6 week challenge. Before starting, I had always heard that crossfit had a bad reputation. I decided to try Spark CrossFit because I was interested in learning more about this type of exercise. I wanted to know if the reputation I had heard of was true. Point blank, it isn't true. At least not here. Everyone was more than welcoming and is really positive and encouraging all the time. It can be pretty daunting to walk into a new gym and workout with new people, especially at a gym like this that uses free weights. You can't cower between machines like you might do at another gym. The thing that really hooked me on continuing with Spark is the fact that I don't feel in competition with those around me like you might feel at another gym. The focus isn't on out-doing your neighbor, but rather out-doing your past self; to grow and progress and encourage those around you to out-do their past self. I have taken classes with almost every coach now, and I can honestly say that there isn't a bad coach. Each one of them explains the workout with clarity, and responds really well to questions. They are really excited to answer form questions and come up with modifications to a work out if necessary. In a nutshell, this gym exceeded my expectations. I love the overall vibe of this place and how welcome, encouraged and challenged I feel every day.

This gym made me love working out again. The community is Awesome, there's always fun event like bbqs and outside functions. Also the equipment here is TOP NOTCH. The owners are always putting money into the gym for new equipment and facilities. They even recently just installed a shower! Also following their program I've gained way more strength here than I would of on my own at LA fitness. Definitely recommend here.

First step through the door and I already liked the feel of the atmosphere here. The owners and coaches are very welcoming as are the gym members. The coaches are always willing to help you improve, all you have to do is ask! The gym members are friendly and are some of the first friends I made in the area when I moved down a year and a half ago. I have grown physically and mentally at this box with the great support here.
